Sony dhc-fl3 hi-fi component system the cd drawers will not open
Remove the unit and take a look inside the trays as there may be a CD that is jamming the tray as it may not be lying flat on it. Be care not to jar the unit too much as they are very sensitive and shouldn't be moved without tightening the screw that holds everything from moving during transport.
There usually is a tiny hole at the front of the tray that you can push in a straightened paper clip and it will manually open the tray.

Hi the stereo is saying push protection where is the botton for that on sony LBT-XG100AV
This is a protection warning. There is a problem with the power output. Make sure that all the speaker wires are NOT shorting-out (visual inspection). You can test the cables with a multi-tester set at the 20 ohms scale, by unplugging from the amp and testing each cable pair at the terminal. They should read anywhere between 4 and 10 ohms resistance (resistance close to 0 indicates a short)..
If the Speakers/cables are good then you have a burned power output stage or a cold solder joint at the fault sensor circuit.

Connect iPod to sony STR DH-100
There is no direct way to connect an iPod to the Sony STR-DH100. You'll need to find the appropriate digital media port adapter for your iPod; they are no longer manufactured for sale.
The TDM-iP50 is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod 4th generation and iPod 5th generation among others. See page 3 of the manual for the full list of compatible gadgets. The manual is currently available here:
https://docs.sony.com/release/TDMIP50_US_ES_FR.pdf . Amazon lists some used models for sale. There is also the TDM-iP1 and TDM-iP10 which are compatible with some iPod models (4th, 5th generation). Again Amazon lists some used models of the TDM-iP10 for sale.
I can't tell you if any of the used digital media port adapters will work with your iPod version. I hope this information helps.

My Sony tc 127 tape deck will power on but none of the functions work.
That unit was made in the 1970s. There are going to be lots of things that are wrong just due to age. There are pinch rollers on the capstan, there are belts and pulleys and the rubber on these is most likey degraded and lost. There are electronic parts called capacitors that have dried out and are now bad. i admire your willingness to work on this unit but it is going to be hard to get parts for it.
