If you go into the network properties of the wireless adapter you should see a tab that says "wireless networks". In the list of saved wireless networks you should see the name of your wireless network, if so delete it from the list and click ok. Try to reconnect now, I noticed this happens alot when you enter in the wrong WEP key in windows xp. hope this helps

OK, do you have the latest version of Apple's Airport Utility: Version 5.4.1 (541.9) ?
If you don't, get it... it's got an excellent interface that will walk you through bridging two wireless routers together.
Once you get your hands on it, you will need to choose which airport will be the primary and which will be the secondary. Ideally, pick the one connected to the highest speed and most reliable internet access.
Connect to the secondary airport and configure it as bridge to the primary, the Airport Utility will walk you through it step by step.

There are universal multi-voltage adapters available at electronic hobby shops, they are available with various adapter plugs. Make sure you connect the adapter plug that matches the power socket for the airport AND also make SURE you connect it with the right polarity and set it for 5 volt setting.
