Sounds like a driver, if you connect you computer with an Ethernet cable to your router temporarily, it may automatically find the software from the internet.

If you would like some help, I could always connect to your computer remotely, and install it for you.

Just provide me with an email address to contact you on so that I can help you out.

Andy

Hi, Why not contact your room mate and get the password from him? In the meantime, if you are looking for access to the Internet for free, most Council Libraries offer internet access at no charge to card holders.

Check the manual. It should have a default wifi password, assuming that's what you're trying to do. You may also need to check the bottom of the router.

Try resetting power to both your router AND your modem. One at a time, starting with your modem, disconnect power for 30 seconds and then reapply power. Your next step, if that was unsuccessful is to call your internet provider. The service may be down on their end or if not, they can reset your connection as well.

You would need to log onto the router (open your browser and enter the URL 192.168.1.1 (most routers use this one) or 192.168.0.1 (if that don't work)). When the router login comes up, enter your userid and password, go to wireless setup, and find the guest SSID section. Here you will find the option to add a guest password.

you need to log into router and enable printers Mac address to the list of allowable devices , router should be accessible directly using a web browser (explorer?) on any device on network already just enter router Ip address number into top destination line , (example of proper formatt is 192.168.100.001) this should bring you to log in page , enter password (yours) into avail spot and press enter , if successful then it will open to a new page that has all the items down left side of page , select dhcp tab and go to list of devices , click ip number of printer(its assigned allready) , select refresh on top tab your new printers ip number /model number/mac address should be there , select exit now your devices on network can "see" it you will need to enable/install this printer on those devices in order to use it , it does not have to be a defalt device on any item on network

Well, there is no default password, if that's what you're aiming for. You have to find admin and ask him for the password. Source: Download Free Manuals

Press the little recessed Reset button in the rear. You press it with the tip of a pen. Have you checked for a label under the unit?

Once resetting, you will have to set it up again.

That's going to be a problem a really big problem in fact, Contact your ISP and tell them that you have forgot your password and ask them if they can reconfigure the router for you. The reconfiguration is an easy process if you know it very well, it differs from router model and your ISP's you need a couple of info which only your ISP knows so its better to call them.

You can connect the F5D5131 switch into any of the ports on your router except the WAN port. The WAN port is often a different color, and labeled "WAN" or "Internet" or "DSL"; the rest of the ports (LAN ports) are often just labeled 1-5.
