FLASHING MOUSE WHEN SNAP IN RECEIVER IN PLACE
I suggest you look for a small and thin button that is located in one of the sides where the receiver is placed at the bottom of the mouse.
If this button is broken then there lies your problem.
Good luck!!!!

Receiver not recognized by computer
The green LED on this reciever is also a button. Press the LED on the reciever with a small blunt object (pencil will work) and then press the "connect" button on the bottom of the mouse. The green LED should come on, and restore the connection between the reciever and the mouse.

Receiver light is steady green. mouse won't light up. cursor won't move.
Why don't you try at the moment of placing a new battery to see if the small button that protrudes, where the receiver is located at the bottom of the mouse is pressed down. Without the receiver in place that **** on must be out for as long as the receiver is in the USB port.
Good luck!!!

My microsoft model no 3000 wireless notebook is not working.
I suggest to put a new battery in it's compartment and simultaneously to press down and release the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed at the bottom of mouse. Prior to this procedure the receiver has to be installed in the USB port. Both actions are to be performed at the same time. Cursor will start moving again.
Good luck!!!

Mouse broke :(
Look on the mouse and on the receiver, there will be little buttons to 'connect' them. The battery may be weak, try a fresh one.

Mouse wont reconnect
If you have a cell phone or cordless phone nearby it could cause interference. Otherwise reboot and try again. Also you can check for updated drivers at the manufacturers website.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Model 1023
windows should come with drivers for it, but microsoft.com has a full suite of intellipoint drivers available for all its mice which adds functionality windows drivers don't give it. If it is not working at all the problem is most likely not driver related.

Ms mouse
Go into control panel>mouse>click on the wheel tab. There should be a number, for the number of lines you want to scroll with each turn, in the vertical and horizonal scrolling.
