"SE" means you have a shorted membrane keypad.There are three ways to fix this:The cheapest but most difficult is to remove and replace the membrane keypad.

Tappan Convectionaire stove with built in
we have the same tappan oven/microwave combination. We are looking for the knobs for this. Its a great oven, but we need these parts. Our microwave handle broke a long time ago and we had one made from wood. If you are going to ditch the old oven would you be willing to sell the knobs?

That is not good at all! The safety lockout switch on the door is supposed to stop the microwave from doing this. This is rather dangerous and you can cause permanent eye damage with just a few seconds exposure.
Do not use this microwave again until you get it fixed by a repair shop. It may be cheaper to buy a new one than repair this.
Tappan TMV151FS over range microwave starts to work and then dies
Never run the microwave without a load (something to heat)!!! That kills the microwave generating parts.
Sounds like a 'thermal' protect switch is activating after running. Make sure that (if the unit is mounted in a cabinet) that there is sufficient space around the unit for proper air flow and that nothing is blocking the vents. Try setting it on a counter top and heat something. If it works properly and doesn't shut off, the venting space is the problem. You may have to have the cabinet that it sits in redesigned for more clearance.
My Micro vents into the kitchen instead of venting
Hi,
The fans on an over the stove microwave can be rotated up to 180 degrees depending on how the installer intends to vent the hood. Your fan is pointed forward and venting into the kitchen through a charcoal filter. If you want to vent through the ducting and out of the kitchen, you'll have to drop the microwave down off of the mounting bracket and rotate the fans in the back, pointing the dicsharge upward for a vertical vent, or 180 degrees, if it discharges out the back (wall vent). In both cases, an adapter is necessary, and can be obtained at any hardware store.

Filter replacement
That's covered on page 20 & 21 of your
owner's manual under the heading"CHARCOAL FILTER REPLACEMENT"
1. Unplug oven or turn off power at the main power
supply.
2. Open the door.
3. Remove the two vent grille mounting screws. (3 middle screws)
4. Slide the grille to the left, then pull straight out.

What I did was get a shorter cabinet and put it in most suppliers have the same models unless handmade.
Amana Radarange model ACO1860AS- does not work at all
That model would be ACO1860AS-, not AC01860AS by the way. That will make it easier to find info on it.
Chances are the heat from the stove top (when used without having the hood vent exhaust fan on as required) has blown the bottom thermostat/thermistor (called "Thrmst-fix" on the part list) or maybe the oven cavity thermostat.
There
should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.At

Accessing some components for testing and possible replacement will require you to remove the oven from the wall.If
so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have
two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

It's displaying "lock" and The keypad is not responding.
1. Touch the "CANCEL" pad.
2. Touch and hold the "0" (zero) pad until the word "LOCK" disappears from the display and a single beep is heard.
The microwave is locked the same way.

Tappan Speedwave 1000 turns on when door is opened
Microwaves do normally 'turn on', in that the light comes on and the fan starts running. If the turntable starts turning and it is emitting microwave energy, then you need to take it for service or replace it. To me, it sounds fine.
