It sounds like your rechargeable battery has died. Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge/discharge cycles in their lifetime. The battery must be replaced.

How do I Download Music
If your mp3 player came with a disk, start by putting that into the computer and following the directions that pop up. This often comes with a program you can use to put the music on the mp3 player. Next plug the mp3 players cord into your computer. Open the program that came with the player and select add music. Then you simply pick the sound files you want and hit enter

Where do i plug in
Depends on the TV and the base unit, doesn't it?
With NO DETAILS about either piece of this puzzle, the best I can do is advise you to find an audio output on the TV that's compatible or convertible to the input for your base unit.

My Jensen spx 17 sub makes a loud thump on turn
all the spx17 will do that, no it should not damage the driver.
We usually suggest to customers that it is best to leave the Sub in the Auto switch position as this will allow it to automatically switch on and off without the loud pop.

How do i add videos
Hi there,
Just plug your mp3 player to your computer's USB port. Once your computer detected it, go and right click on your Windows Start button and choose Explore. It will open you the windows explorer window. Under My Computer or Computer on the left panel, look for the drive letter associated with your Jensen MP3 player. Click on it to show its contents and the folders on the right side. Look for the folder which contains your videos. Drag your video files on that folder and that's it.
Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FixYa.

Some MP3 players can only play certain types of files. The type of files that you are putting on your player may not be readable by the player. The specs show the player can read MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE. See the manual that the file you put on are of the specification.
To download the manual.
http://www.spectraintl.com/owners_manuals.html
Note:
Some mp3 files don't have artists name on it.right click on the file in the computer and click on advanced tab and enter the artists name and then ok.Does the files show up in albums or common list of files?then the artists name should be missing Set it.
Just format the player again and put the files again. There is some virus in the mp3 files so only it behaves like this.Just scan with anti virus. In SMPV 4gb,system files can take up to 500 MB.
post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Hi..I am new at this..Just
Does the computer recognize the player when you plug it in? If not, you need to download drivers. If it does recognize it, go to the start menu, then my computer. Once you are there you should see your media player/mp3. Double click on the player icon. Open it up and then you should see either a DCM folder or MP3 folder.
Leave this window open, then go back to start menu, and your documents or whatever file you keep your music in. Now you can drag any and all songs from your music folder over to Media player/mp3 folder and drop the songs in that folder which will be added to the player.
To select all songs at one time. Click on the very first song at the top of your list. Then press and hold shift while you scroll down the to the last song on the list and click that song. Then let go of the shift key and all files should be highlighted. Now you can drag all the songs at one time and drop them into the media player/mp3 folder and have all your songs on your player.
