Hi, in this JVC cameras there is a self diagnostic system, when the cameras function is abnormal this dialogue will appear on the screen, try to spray little contact cleaner inside the mode selector switch which is lying below the mechanism. first eject the cassette mechanism disconnect the power look carefully at the left side of the mech , use CRC spry , wait for a five minutes , power ON and test the system.
