Lost mother board CD sound drivers not installed

You can click on the MSI link below for your MS-6734 motherboard; (All drivers & more).
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=searchresult&keywords=MS-6734&table=download

If your sound driver software will not install correctly there are other ways to install the driver.
First, your windows registry should be cleaned. (Windows registry contains old sound driver software & RegCure will remove none needed windows keys).
Download & run the free program RegCure.
Here is the link for RegCure;
http://www.pctuneuptips.com/recommends/clean/?gclid=CL2RiIrTmpICFSFMGgodODIPzg

Once RegCure has finished restart your system. Create a folder on your desktop & name it, Sound driver. Download the driver from MSI (See the first link above) File name, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip & save the file into your Sound Driver folder. The file named Realtek_AC97_MB.zip is compressed.
You will need to uncompress the file, you will need WinZip for this. You can download a free trial from the next link; (Winzip uncompress *.zip files).
http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html
Once Winzip has been installed restart your system.
Open the Sound Driver folder. Right click once on the file named, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip.
A pop-up window will open slide your mouse to the Winzip icon & right click on it once. In the next pop-up window slide to & left click, Extract to here. The file will uncompress.
Uncompress ion will create another folder named, AC97. All needed driver files will be stored in the AC97 folder.

Open windows device manager. Click the start button (In windows) & open control panel. Open the System icon. Click the hardware tab & than click the device manager button. Look at the icons.
If you see, unknown PCI device or a yellow pair shaped icon with an explanation point ( ! ). This will most likely be for the sound driver. In stall the driver software from here. (Follow the instructions below).
Right click once on the explanation point, a window will open & Left click once on “update driver”. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Left click on the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the “ Sound Driver ” folder on your desktop. Open it, high-light the AC97 folder by left clicking on it once. Windows will search within the folder & install the correct sound driver software. Restart your system.
Open windows control panel & open the Sound and Audio Devices icon. Check both the Audio tab & Voice tab. Both should show RealTek AC97. Test for audio.

Bios password reset

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

alsoThe most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. hope this helps

Board will not boot.power supply changed

The power supply and motherboard have a connection (4pin) that communicate to each other. Without this connection, the board will not boot and the power supply will not come on.
The power supply can be fooled by jumping certain pins, but the motherboard must be connected.
Please consult your motherboard manual for the location of this connector.
Visit this site for more clarification please.

Works for a while, then shuts down

Check all cable connections as one may be loose & causing intermittent power loss. Another thing to check is your fans. An overheating cpu will also shut down your machine to protect it from damage. Make sure your fans are clean & spinning; if not replace with compatible fans. Check your heatsink to make sure it has a good connection & has thermal paste properly applied. Hope these help.
