you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP also make sure your modem/routers settings are correct ie:password user name,firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down network adapters + expand Ethernet driver right click you will have options to update driver disable uninstall or select properties general you will have the options to troubleshoot or to update driver rollback or uninstall a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver right click to install driver last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online hope this helps

Hi,

The floppy drive light permanently on can be caused by inserting the 4 pin power cable upside down.

Please check that the power cable is correctly inserted. There should be a raised part on the power plug that fits into a slot on the floppy drive power socket.

The system shown has onboard Intel High Speed USB (USB 2.0) with an NEC High Speed USB (USB 2.0) PCI card installed.

The key word is ENHANCED. If you have an ENHANCED USB Host Controller then you have High Speed USB (USB 2.0)

All other types are USB v.1.1

I need more info. Is the motherboard new or all the components are newly purchased..? If not which one's old and which one's new?

Do you hear the cpu fan and other fans running when you press the power button? Are all the hardware compatible with each other? How many Ram sticks are installed? Are both the power connectors on the motherboard properly connected (both ATX and 4 pin socket)?

The best thing to let me check your motherboard is, a photo of the setup motherboard, so that I can take a look and correct the mistakes, if any.

To do this, take a shot of the currently setup motherboard (Full view if possible, of you can take separate shots). Upload the pictures on Tinypic.com (tinypic), once you open the link, you'll see these menus on the webpage :

Well I can say its a socket 478 P4 and you can probably only upgrade to about a 2.4Ghz P4 , probably not much of an upgrade, better to build or buy a new PC for around $500-$600

i think its old generation Mobo so better replace this one if u want to increase the performance of the pc

Depends; If you have 4G of ram, and running XP, then only 3G is shown - that is a limitation of the XP operating system. Windows 7 64 bit has no such limit.

this can be done by replacing the bios chip only,if your computer is not starting.

Set it properly and get it done. Refer to the motherboard manual to do it.
