hi,
You can't connect the pre out of your AVR to this sub woofer. Do one thing connect the frond left/ right channel speaker "B" out of harman kardon to the sub woofers left right speaker in put. you can connect the speaker out "A" to your normal left right speakers. Remember to switch Speaker "A" and "B" in ON position in your AVR. Also do one thing go to the speaker setup of AVR and switch OFF (slelect NONE) the sub woofer. This will disconnect the sub woofer pre our and the sub frequency will mix with frond left right channels.

Try unpluging the unit for atleast 2 hrs. The capacitors bleed off energy very slow, thats why it needs to be unpluged for a couple hrs. If that doesnt work it usually means the powersupply is going out.

Re: Harman Kardon AVR 135

The switching on this unit is done electronically via computer commands to the switching IC. I would guess that there is a problem with the power supply such that either the 5V line is too low (less than 4,4V) or that there is AC noise on the DC line. Any shop that handles audio equipment should be able to determine the problem with a few internal measurements. Typical parts costs for a repair of this type should be under $20.

Plugged a 110 volt kenwood receiver accidentally to 220 volts

Considering 220 and 110 systems have different receptacles, you worked at doing this.
Since it is already inoperable, you may as well remove the housing and inspect the guts. If you see burned traces or boards, don't bother to have it repaired.
If you see a fuse in a clip, you might replace it once, two would be the waste of the second fuse.
