Hi,

First off that notebook is not Windows 7 capable. Here are the WIndows 7 requirements:

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  
• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.
  

But, if you want to add a PCMCIA Sound Card you can do that. Just google PCMCIA Sound Card and you'll find a ton that are available.
I might suggest a new laptop.

They don't make them like that any more! The Service Manual lists it as a standard IDE drive. Your best bet is to take it to a local computer shop. DVI video cables don't carry audio. Thus you need to use an audio extractor or converter instead of just an HDMI to DVI adapter cable. Then connect the HDMI to DVI cable to the HDMI out of the converter. Then the audio out to one of the audio connections on the LCD4610-BK. Note: this converter requires you to get the extra HDMI and audio cables separately. Depending on your ROKU device, you might need an HDMI (F to M) adapter to ensure that you aren't blocking other things on the front of the converter. NEC Versa LX Screen no model told screen, a monitor is it"? the 1998 PC that? has no change at all to run zero. Pentium II (p2) relic, no modern OS run on it the coin cell battery and huge battery are toasted. hdd is bad. it has zero value now, and to fix it will be costly . the CCFL back lamps are dead. what is there to like, sure free in a garage sale. zero value. ,try moving from 1998 to 2010 to gain a future.

USA? or where? ours is 60hz only, are you using 50Hz and bought in USA now it fails? dont do that. NEC M362w, connected to what? this is called a Projector. 1280 by 800 is native reso. so that is not a problem. Hz>? 50 or 60 or above>? what Hz./ rate.? AMR (Adaptive Multi Rate) is common audio file format for mobile devices like mobile phones, laptops, portable recorders.. etc.

in fact totem movie player can't play any amr files (files encoded in amr codec) by itself. Totem Player depends on Gstreamer libs, which haves necessary media handling components .

from your post its not clear that whether your totem can't play movie files from the very beginning or just you can not play movies recently.

your totem player may lacks Gstreamer library files or somehow your Gstreamer libs got corrupted recently.
Reinstalling Gstreamer Library file may help you.

What is your power and energy saver settings at? Tap windows key and start typing power sl and power and sleep settings should be the first choice. If its not obvious from there, scroll down and or click additional power settings. And the time out reason should be listed and be changable from there.

what is it hooked up to? If a windows computer you can quickly do this by holding down 3 keys at once. Ctrl + Alt + choose an arrow key. Tip if your doing this on dual display, what ever screen your mouse last clicked on will be changed when you do this. Ctrl + Alt + left arrow or right arrow depending on orientation desired.

connect it to computer and power source and then right click anywhere on desktop. choose display settings. May need to scroll down in your display settings, but windows 10 will automatically detect additional displays from that screen. Then you can choose extend or duplicate and choose primary and resolution.

In windows or the bios? If its Windows then reinstall windows with an english install media.

Firstly, check for reset button on your WiFi extender, press and hold for few seconds till all lights off.
Search for WiFi SSID and connect your laptop or mobile, browse for given ip on extender in browser, give it's password and follow the wizard to complete setup.
