my nec ll700fd laptop working
Hi,
Welcome to FixYa!
This may cause by an electrical charge in the motherboard itself,Im not really sure how it affects the display of the computer. There's also a possibility that the problem is with the LCD cable or the LCD itself. Please follow this method since it usually fix such problem like that,
1.Removed the battery then unplugged the AC adapter
2.Press and hold the power button or the ON/OFF button for at least 30 seconds
3.Connect the power supply back to your computer then turn it back on.
4. Check if you will see any difference.
5. If nothing happens, try to press and hold Fn and F2 on the keyboard.
If nothing happens, there is a possibility that the problem is with the LCD or monitor itself, maybe it will need a replacement...
I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa...

Hi i have come in
hi
i am not certain, you are referring to the NEC notebook. if so, try booting up with the AC adapter only
what model and type is the computer ?
if you are in North America, i can recommend you to a battery store near you.
Follow instructions:
1) make sure computer is off. remove the battery
2) power up the computer with AC adapter attached only
3) if it does boot up, shut it down.
4) re install the battery and boot it up without AC adapter
if the notebook does not boot up, then yes, you need a new battery for it
if the batter is 2 years old or more, you need new battery
send me 4 thumbs up please.
I have a nec ci
I haven't been able to find out much information on this specific laptop, but an easy way I usually use to determine the type of memory I need is to run a scan at crucial.com. You do have to use Internet Explorer, but it always gets the job done. You can also remove the RAM from the computer and it should have a sticker with the type of RAM it is. Here is the direct link to the scan on crucial.com.

The proper way of charging
insert the battery onto the laptop. Then plug the power cable to the wall and then plug it straight to the laptop. Its best to charge the laptop if it is shut down so that the laptop would charge faster..

Powermate fML7-R8023 won't boot, stuck with NEC
Try connecting a external keyboard if you have one and test it out.
If you managed with the external keyboard, you should be able to press a button (Esc/F2...etc, if you don't know which one, it should be shown somewhere on the screen) to get to the POST screen(i.e. a screen showing all the details) which might show clues on what's wrong with your computer. (e.g. RAM / HDD problem)
I can not play movies
Hi..
AMR (Adaptive Multi Rate) is common audio file format for mobile devices like mobile phones, laptops, portable recorders.. etc.
in fact totem movie player can't play any amr files (files encoded in amr codec) by itself. Totem Player depends on Gstreamer libs, which haves necessary media handling components .
from your post its not clear that whether your totem can't play movie files from the very beginning or just you can not play movies recently.
your totem player may lacks Gstreamer library files or somehow your Gstreamer libs got corrupted recently.
Reinstalling Gstreamer Library file may help you.
you can find
latest source version of Gstreamer on this page (more detailed download of Gstreamer can be found on
http://openports.se/multimedia/gstreamer-0.10 )
I HAVE A USED BOARD
