NEC laptop stuck in Phoenix BIOS Setup Utility
While in the BIOS setup utility, go through the tabs/menus looking for BOOT sequence. Configure the laptop to boot from CD-Drive before any other drive. Have the installation CD in drive.Save the changes made to the BIOS configuration, and exit the BIOS. Reboot.
If the installation medium itself does not have a problem, you should be able to boot from it and have the opportunity to install the operating system.
Driver video controller vga compatible
Hi,
Sounds like a generic video card driver was installed.
Go to you manufacturers website and download and install the proper driver for your Model and Operating System.

Well, BOOTMGR can't "compress". Maybe you mean it's corrupt or bad. You will need to "repair" it using your Windows install disk. Boot with the disk in your DVD drive and follow the onscreen instructions.
Laptop beeps no display
There are many possibilities for this fault, battery not charged due to a faulty ac adapter/charger unit, memory is faulty or not seated properly, mainboard is faulty, you will really need to have the laptop inspected.
