I NEED A CANON COMMAND BACK 70
Canon has not sold those for quite a while. Your best bet is to go to Ebay, Film cameras, film camera body acessories, type in Canon Command back 70 and wait until one shows up.
If you save the search, you get an email everytime one comes up. Good luck.
What are the best filters for my canon t70
Any Canon FD lens will work. Also any 3rd party lens for the Canon FD mount.
Filters? depends on what you're shooting, but keep a UV or Skylight filter on the lens at all times. If you drop it, the damage will happen to the filter...not the lens.
Film won't load.
check batteries, if they are old substitute with known good batteries. One of batteries may be problem test individually under load test! . good luck
Film door latch is loose
Same advice I made to another post. At some point you got to make a decision. There is a lot of plastic pieces that can break. Canon doesn't support the T series from what I've read. You may consider getting another one. You also have to consider that the fix may not work. Then what do you do?
Canon t70
Honestly, I just got a T70 on ebay for $15. Sounds like it's time to move on. I had an AE-1 for over 10 years but it just wasn't working and one has to weigh the cost of repair, the cost to replace it or upgrade to a modest digital camera.
Canon t 70
Sounds like an electrical switch problem. Consult a service center or trade up to a secondhand AE-1 w/ winder or Canon G-10 digital camera.
The lens bayonet on my T70 is loose. Where do I
I've read that some of the "Handymen" out there have taken the faceplate off the T70 and put LocTite on the screws to hold them in place. OMG--not for me. Look on the web for a Canon authorized service center. I only paid $15 for my secondhand T70. I just leave the 500mm bazooka lens off it. A modest lens up to 135mm should be okay. Good luck.
TAKES 3 OR 4 PICTURES BEFORE STOPPING
Check that your camera is set for Single frame shooting mode. In the display, the arrow should be pointing at SINGLE. If it is pointing at the H(igh speed) or L(ow speed) CONT(inuous) setting change it by:
Open the palm wing door and check that the selector there is set to S-C. Then press the button in the center of the selector until the arrow is pointing at SINGLE.
I recently bought a canon t70 on ebay. The seller
Hi there, and welcome to FixYa.
You should get your money back. Never buy something that you have to put money into to have it working properly. You should not attempt to repair this yourself. If you want to keep it, and pay even more money, take it to a shop.

Ordered lens for Canon T70 camera
Hi there and welcome to FixYa.
Check on the box. Your camera has an FD mount. The lens you need to use also has to fit the Canon FD mount. If the lens you received is not an FD mount lens...send it back.
Thanks for coming to FixYa.

Is our Canon T70 dead?
It sounds like the motor is locked up. The gears under the bottom of the camera may have gotten sluggish from dried out lubrication. You can take the bottom off to see if the gears are able to turn freely or check with a local camera repair shop.

Problems rewinding film.
Your film is already rewound (if I understood you correctly).
Your camera is beeping because the film is rewound and there is no film for the camer to take the photo on since it has been rewound.
LCD goes blank whether camera is on or off
Hey sirath,
I know you just got the camera serviced, but from how you describe the issue I would say there is a problem with the connection of the LCD to the camera (i.e. a loose wire). I am assuming that the camera will still take a picture, but you just can't see anything on the LCD screen. If this is the case I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician, and I would bring it back to whomever worked on the camera before because it is possible that the previous repair caused the problem and if that is the case this repair would most likely be free. I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Allan

Shutter sticking open
Hey jimicricket,
The mirror is what reflects what the lens is seeing up to the viewfinder, and if it is sticking in the up position that is why you can't see anything sometimes thru the viewfinder. I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician, and it's possible that it just needs a good cleaning.
Sincerely,
Allan
