When viewing film I have a split image
Sounds like it may be a problem with the film advance. May not be economical to repair but there are a lot of camera bodies out there that will work with your lenses.

Canon elph 2 film door wont open
You need the camera powered up and all the film used to activate the release mechanism for the lock to release the film door, the Elph film door will not open until all the pictures have been taken. It uses A CR2 Lithium battery

Canon EOS 300x battery problem: it doesn't work,
First make sure the batteries are in the correct position/orientation clean both battery terminal and look down inside the battery compartment make sure the "lower" connection is clean (shinny) if not you may need to use a pencil eraser with a piece of sandpaper affixed to it to get down in there and scrub off the corrosion. Another thing and I've run into this myself on a Canon Elan IIe was the battery indicator showed new batteries as dead but the camera attempted too function so, I just used it and used it and withing a few minutes the battery indicator showed the battery state of charge more accurately.

Where is the power button for canon eos elan iie?
There isn't one. To turn on the camera, hold down the lock release button (just inboard of the command dial) and turn the command dial from the "L" position. To turn off the camera, hold down the lock release and turn the dial to the "L" position. If you need a manual you may download a copy
from here.

My film in Canon ae 1 came out blank :S
I would say either the film didn't wind properly as it was going along,or the shutter isn't working properly.Did it make the whirring noise like it was winding after you took a picture? If you can,try taking a picture with the door open,no film, and see if the shutter moves. If it does open,it's probably the winder which pulls the film after a picture is taken.Good luck!
