I've had this happen to me in the past.  It generally means that your charger has died, or your battery's connections need to be cleaned.
Try using a Q-tip and some Windex to clean the contacts on the battery.  Let it charge overnight. 
If that doesn't work, and you're still under warranty, contact Casio. They replaced a charger I had a few years back, no hassle.  They know it's an issue, and are pretty quick about replacing the defective one.
If you're not under warranty, a Casio battery charger can be found on eBay for a few dollars.

It did come out in 2004, maybe it has just reached the end of its working life ? Have you checked the batteries and storage media ?

if it doesn't have a jack for a charger or a charger stand to sit it in then it will not be re-chargeable as such you will have to remove the battery and check if it is an alkaline battery ( not re-chargeable ) or a rechargeable battery in which case you will need a battery charger for that type of battery If that is the case get spares and have a fully charged one on hand to just swap over while the other is charging

No model? please make sure your lens is switched to auto focus (AF) When the lens is smudged, please only clean it with fluid special for lenses. Never use normal glass cleaners, because lenses do have coatings that come of easy with normal house hold cleanres. If you already tried cleaning the lens that way, I think we have found what is wrong. Without the coating the lens can't give good pictures.
