The water containers have a small exit valve that fits into the mist head compartment. Should particles (Lime or Calcium) collect within the valve; no water will exit. Check the reservoir outlet and use Vinegar solution for cleaning parts. Use Distilled or Filtered water ONLY.

The orange wire from humidistat goes to speed control switch L. The brown wire from fan motor it goes to speed control switch 1. And the blue wire from fan motor it goes to switch 2. No wire has to be connected to 3. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Ever find a solution to this? I had the same bug after 2 years working fine, felt stupid as I couldn't understand it. I replaced both tanks for no good reason then it worked fine, took it out this season and it's doing it again.

It Sounds like the Switch that Detect the Humidity is Faulty. But, i do not want you to Check or Bypass anything, as it would be in warranty. By Opening the Machine yourself, you would Void the agreement and it would not be Covered under Warranty. I would advise you to call Manufacturer and he would be able to follow up from there. It does not make sense for Opening the machine or removing any Wires yourself, when it is under Warranty,

seems to me you have a calcium build up inside the unit, something has slowed down the humidification process and that would be the most likely cause, you should run some diluted (CLR) through it and this should take care of the build up, leave it set for a while with the diluted solution in it then drain it out, and refill, give that a try and it should help, also check to make sure the fan is not getting cloged with dust and clean that too, thanks again for your question, please let us know how we did,

I have same problem. Water does not come out of the bottles. One bottle empties first. the valve at bottom may be too tight. I loosened the left bottle cap and that released enough water to fill the tray and get to the wick element. I don't know why or how it knows one bottle is empty and changes over to the other, or how it only meters out enough water to fill the tray since there is no moving parts.

It may have been designed that way or could be faulty design.
