On Microsoft's webpage, navigate to the section about Microsoft outlook. On the page somewhere will be a link you can use to take you to their support staff. Click that link and follow the instructions to get help with your product.

You can copy all of them to your sim card and insert your sim card onto your iphone 4

This means the battery is wearing / worn out, it happens for sure with all devices, and for some reason Palms seem to be a bit quicker about wearing them out. It can be replaced, but it is extremely difficult to do on this model. Here is a step by step guide on how to do it, but it involves the use of special tools you need to buy and basically pulling apart the palm piece by piece.

The answer to this question is yes,

What you are to do to solve this problem is to allow the zire in power for some time it will come up to charge after some time please do not allow the battery to get very low before charging in other not to damage the battery.

But if after you have allow the zire in power for longer period and the problem remain then remove the battery if possible allow it from the zire system for few period then replace it again then plug it back to the power.

Please note, if the problem remain then it means that you will have to get your zire another new battery from the store around your local area or you should go online to order it.

Unfortunately this is a common problem, it can be repaired but unless you are an electronics technician I suggest you take it to the service provider if it's still under warranty. If not there will probably be a small fee. It may not be worth the cost to repair it so you may just want to replace the unit. Good luck

Its most likely caused by battery's life cycle has come to end. You may obtain a 3.7V OEM battery with same size of your original battery at least 700mA. you may replace if you wish to DIY or ask local repair tech assistance.

your charger port is most likely broken. if you try another charger and get the same thing- replace the phone, it cannot be repaired- unfortunately is not covered by warranty (it is if you bought the insurance for it) and once you replace it- NEVER use the original cords from the original phone or it might happn again.

I am a fire system technician as well. Not a designer, a builder and repair. No comparison to problem at hand. Pull the battery and see if it has power. Plug it back in, plug into charger and see if charger is still working. Bet it aint.

How much it will cost to repair it?

It's hard to answer it if a proper diagnostics has not been done on it to confirm what is working, and what is not.

It could be in the range of $50.00 to $200.00, depending of what is broken.

I am not telling you that somebody will take you for a ride with your PDA, but if multiple parts are broken, then will be necessary to replace them.

In the other hand, if only a connection is loose because of the drop, then no parts will be needed.

You can check different options to have a diagnostics p[erformed on your pda, and then make the decision if you want it repaired.

Such PDAs are sold in working conditions in Ebay in the range of $90.00 - $120.00.

I do recommend you to look for a technician service where the diagnoctics has a flat fee, and where is garanteed that a complete diagnostics and full quote will be given to you prior to perform the repair, and then compare such quote to the price of buy an used one.

It seems that unfortunately you PDA is damaged and needs professional repair service, or just forget about it and buy another one.

Water causes to have corrosion and shorts in electronic devices, even if is dried internally (residues cause the shorts), which is an quemical effect of have water (or moisture) with copper and other metals and a voltage from the battery.

If anyway is already damaged, you may want to try in repair it yourself.

If so, you will need to open it, and remove all residues (kind of green or white dust over the components) from the copper traces, connectors and components.

If the event is recent, there is the chance you can clean it completely, but I do see that this happened a couple of months ago.

If several weeks (or months) passed, then a deep corrosion already took place in it, and is likely that the components and connections have been permanently damaged.

In order to open and repair, you will need:

1. Torx scredriver and philips screwdriver
2. Plastic pry tool to open it without leave marks or damage the PDA housing
3. 5X magnifier with light, or better if you can use a microscope, so you can review all the areas (including under the tiny electronic components) and clean them.

If you send it to repair, it will be expensive, and it may be over the cost of buy an used PDA but in good working conditions.

I mean, depending of the damage caused by the water, it may be necessary to replace one or all the major components inside the PDA (mainboard, LCD screen, speaker, camera, battery, etc).

Zire 72 battery changeout not designed to be user serviceable. Undertake at your peril (unless you are very steady handed, patient, and very very careful). The 72 is probably the most difficult of the Palms to change batteries. Go to: http://forum.brighthand.com
Navigate to the Zire 72 section and read the posts. There are even detailed photos and uTube movies that deal with changing the battery. I have used their forum for years. Lots of help there.

Re-open the case and make doubly sure that the tiny connections to both the mic and the record button are firmly connected and not broken. Lots of very small and delicate connections in very tight quarters in a unit that was not designed to be user serviceable.

You have a bad connection, or no connection to the digitizer. This is common when changing out batteries. Re-open the case and check the connector to the digitizer.
