I would need to know the model of your Palm. I am sending you a link to Palm Support. Select your PDA from the list and then click on that. It will take you to another page and from there you should be able to download the software. If you need any other help please let me know.
Best wishes.

you cant use CDMA phones in India, because CDMA phones don't have a SIM card option. They use GSM phones in India which use SIM cards.

It won't hotsync, it start to than stops when I

Here are a few things to try:
Check that the HotSync icon in showing in the system tray (bottom right hand side of the screen, next to the time).
Check that USB connections are enabled in HotSync - In HotSync V7.0.2, Right click the hotsync icon in the system tray, Click "Settings...". Click "Connections" on the menu on the left hand side and ensure that the USB option is checked.
Try rebooting your PC and also resetting the device (use a paper clip to reset the device).
You could also try reinstalling Palm Desktop, maybe even remove Palm Desktop, reboot, then reinstall Palm Desktop.

I have a palm tungsten

It has something to do with the firmware. Upgrading the firmware of your phone might help. You need to contact the manufacturer or the reseller to do it.

NOTE: Please do not try to upgrade the firmware by yourself, it might cause internal or damages on the program.

Have a great day!

I bought a refurbished Tungsten

Are you syncing the new device to the same username in Palm Desktop as an older device?
If you are, this will cause problems on the new device. When you sync the device, it saves the device settings, 3rd party apps, preferences, etc. in the backup folder in the username folder on the PC. When

you sync the new device it copies the contents of the backup folder for the old device to the new device. This will cause corruption in the settings for the new device thus causing erratic behavior of the new device.

Looks like you may need to hard reset your device and rename your backup folder

Go to http://www.palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=887 and follow the directions to do a hard reset. Next before you hotsync your data back over you will need to rename your backup folder, to do that go here;

XP
C:\program files\palm or palm one\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
folder to backup.old

Vista
Start-->documents\Palm OS Desktop\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
folder to backup.old

Then hotsync to your current hotsync name and all your contacts, calendar,
tasks, and memos will come back over.

Show file extensions for XP or Vista

XP
If you can not view file extensions on your PC I would like you to open a
folder go to Tools-->Folder Options--> View (tab) and under show hidden
files and folders uncheck hide file extensions for known file types.

Vista
Open control Panel go to Folder Options--> View (tab) and under show hidden
files and folders uncheck hide file extensions for known file types.

Palm Tungsten E2 was working

There's a possibility that a security software on the computer is blocking the connection to sync, you can try first to disable firewall and anti virus on that computer and sync it again....

How to sync Excel document from desktop to Palm Treo 690p

Pay for software?  I say no!

You actually have two options.  Microsoft actually has an excel viewer.  I did a quick google search and here's a link to the 2003 viewer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c8378bf4-996c-4569-b547-75edbd03aaf0&displaylang=EN

Also, here's one for 2007: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1cd6acf9-ce06-4e1c-8dcf-f33f669dbc3a&DisplayLang=en

Another option is open office (www.openoffice.org).  This is open source software (read: free) and will let you modify, save, and open any Microsoft document.

Huy -- there's always a free version of what you're looking for somewhere.  That's the beauty of the interwebs.
