These are just the minerals in the salt and water that are burned off during evaporation. It is normal. I have very hard water here and it leaves quite a mess in there.

You may have hard water. Try adding about 1/4tsp of baking soda. It should hush right up.

Mine never turns green, always stay orange when on. As for the vapour, i add a little salt to the water and it works wonders, just about a tsp... good luck!

That is very normal...the sound is the water being turned to steam which is the "vapor" that comes out...
Everything is okay and perfectly normal.

All appliances are required to have voltage name tag. If you have the voltage multiply by the amp draw and it will give you the wattage.

the amps is on the rating plate of the unit next to the model and your volts may vary 115-120

Try soaking the heating unit in lime away or vinegar to remove lime deposits, if that doesn't help add a small amount of salt to the water.

Try putting a teaspoon of salt in the vaporizer, it should start blowing.

My cord is also getting very hot after being plugged in for just a few minutes. Is there a cause for concern here? It's not even a year old, bought in January of 2022.

You may be over filling the unit. Take the refillable water tank out and with the power removed try to remove all the extra water where the tank goes. check for anything that looks cracked inside the unit the best you can. If the tank is seating properly it should not leak. If it is filled properly it should not leak.

if possible try and check the lines or hoses that run from the wat er supply to the point where the steam comes out. It is very possible that the lines are clogged with water deposits. Thats why most of the time they suggest that you use distilled water in your vaporizer. hop this helps. Lynn

If your water is hard I would you softened water

No it will mess up the vapor you inhale it will hurt your eyes and brain
