Try replacing the power cable that goes from the wall to the machine.The type of power cable used in the MP C3000 & C4500 has a hard plastic insert where it plugs into the machine that can get damaged by impact and short out. Also try checking the wall socket to verify that it is completely plugged in.
Worse case scenario it could be an I/O board.
If you have a contract with Ricoh, I would suggest placing a service call for them to come out and look at the machine.
