Need printer to autmatically decide on paper size and orientation according to software program used. How?

When you go into the print properties in Word, you can specify the paper size that will be used in the bypass tray. Depending on which driver you are using, the settings will be a little different, but there should be an option to select the input tray -- Bypass Tray -- and paper size.

As for the orientation, Word will show you a recommendation for how to place the envelope, but this recommendation isn't always right. It's a good idea to run a test envelope through and see which way the addresses print. (The envelopes should always be face down.)

just double click on the printer icon on the extre right corner of ur computor near the clock then right click on the active print job and select cancel .ur print job will stop

You need PS (post script) DIMM to print to a mac.

Check if someone has selected the toner saving on the print quality tab in the printer driver.

The SD card cannot be copied normally , it is usually done only at Ricoh. There may be some copy protection system in it.

please check sensor inside the feeder

As NALDZ said, sometimes when the power drops out the thermistor will play up a little. Sometimes this can be caused by toner being caked up on the thermistor. But in most cases it can be reset easy enough.

if you walk up to the machine in COPY mode.
simply press.

(yellow clear), 1 , 0 , 7 (hold red stop button)
The screen will change, if you hold '#' on the keypad and press 'copy sp' on the touch screen you will be into ricoh service modes.

All you will have to do now to reset your error is simply switch the machine off at the main red switch below the plastic flap toward the bottom of the machine.

this is a long process, if the machine is on the network, you can access the on board ram by typinjg in the address of the machine into your web browser. From there you need to enter the admin area, top left of page. Enter: admin, press the tab key twice and you should be in. From there you need to set up an address for the copier to scan to: this is done through the address book and you need to select SMB and then enter in the path to the PC
