20 Most Recent Cisco 1811 Router - Page 5 Questions & Answers

Check what version of software do you have. Do "dir" command and look at the file name. If it contains "K9" in the name, then it has "crypto" functionality, if it doesn't, then you need to find it (however it will be quite a challenge, as these routers are end-of-life for a decade...)

Good luck,

We can answer specific questions for you as long as you are specific. Broad questions are difficult to answer in a reasonable amount of time but if you ask us to explain database normalization, that can be handled in a reasonable amount of time.
When you graduate, you will likely get a job with a smaller company. This is simply because there are more of them then larger companies. Smaller companies mean smaller networks which means less work so they will not be able to keep you busy working only on the network. The solution is to either hire somebody part-time or to hire somebody with a related talent that they need. That is where the DB knowledge comes in handy.

What about it?

Please describe the router and the lights that are blinking. It could just be activity lights.

Alternately you can look up your router and probably download the manual, which should explain what the lights are and what they indicate.

On the back of the router is a reset button. Press that in for 5-10 seconds. It will reset to factory specs. Once you reset the Valet Hotspot, all of its customized settings (network name, wireless security, etc.) will be erased and the hotspot's IP address will be reverted back to 192.168.1.1, with a default password of admin and no username.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.
