My samsung 2551n printer
This is a somewhat common problem with this printer. You are going to have to have the power supply repaired. The power supply in your printer sits right under the fusing unit and thus gets hot. Over time this causes the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply to swell and go bad. This causes the power to cycle on/off as well as other issues. You will need to order a new power supply board or have your existing one repaired. If you have it repaired or repair it yourself you will need to replace all the capacitors. There are about 5 or 6 of them all grouped together.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Paper jam problem
Hi,
Cause : Paper jam.
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..
Hope that helps! Please rate my response.
Thanks
Have a good day.
Unit will not power up
silly, but needed questions...power cable plugged into a good outlet? Is the power switch on the printer turned on? Do you get any lights at all? There is probably a fuse close to where the power cord goes into the unit. You may need to unscrew portions of the covers to find it...be careful not to break anything....other than that, take it to an authorized dealer.
