I recently replaced the toner cartridge on my 2010 machine. It fed and printed one piece of paper that had been in the queue when the toner ran out. This morning it fed in a piece of paper, created a HUGE noise, and then the Error light went solid red. Inside, I took the toner cartridge out, cleared a paper jam, and there was also a large, black rubber strap lying there, broken. Now it'll rev up and the green light goes on until it tries to feed in paper, and then nothing, and a red light.
Suggestions? Can I fix this myself?
The "owner's guide' that came with this printer has nothing, not even locations for service if I need it. Don't think I'll be buying another Samsung again!

This is a step-by-step process for replacing the tire (roller). Thanks to dizzyzuma for helping me get the right part and get the procedure down.
1: You will need to manually shut off the printer in the middle of printing in order to release the tabs. Put in a few sheets of junk paper and print a few blank documents. You want to shut off the printer using the switch in the back when the roller is approximately in this position:
2: Hold the down the two side tabs that are locking the tire into place and press down on the tire with your finger. It should pop off relatively easily.
3: Turn the printer back on. The tire will rotate around to its starting position, but it will now be unlocked. Turn the printer back off.
4: Rotate the tire towards you and unhook the two bottom hinges. It should come off without much force.
5: Replace the old tire with the new tire.
6: Re-insert the tire onto one of the bottom hinges and rotate it around so that both of the bottom hinges (tabs) are in.
7: While holding the back of the metal bar with your fingers for leverage, press firmly with your thumb to snap the tire back into place.
8: Turn back on the print. You’re good to go.

I had a paper jam, after removing the paper the red light still stays on. The printer were turned down , but the problem says. While turning the printer on one can hear the motor trying to start but then it stops. Please help or direct me to a service agent. Thanks

I had the same problem and I finally solve it!
I simply took out the fuse and put it again in the cartridge, i don't know why, but it works

Help. Both of the lights on my Samsung ML-2510 are blinking very rapidly. Can't find reference to it in manual.

I noticed that the orange cancel button was jammed down. I couldn't prise it up, but was able to release it by tapping firmly the top of the printer near the button. As soon as it popped up - the buttons stopped flashing

My printer was able to print an "INTERNAL ERROR - FALSE, Position: 0x1227e (74366)" error message as well as a test page, but not documents sent to print.
However, the problem was fixed once I switched to another USB port as the person above mentioned. So for any other people with similar problems, try that! In addition to power cycling the printer (I did that first)

There could be 2 problems. 1. The "Toner Save" option is turned on. You could disable this by clicking on the toner save button or disabling it in the printer drivers. 2. Trying shaking the Toner cartridge. (This sounds crude but believe me it has worked many times).

Both red and green lights are flashing. Manual says low toner may be the problem...copies not indicative of that. Printer shows as "offline". Disconnected & reconnected power and USB cords. Is Orange button "reset"? If so, it is stuck.

It maybe one of the fuse gone.
You have to change the fuse:
The fuse is 250mAh and 3/4" inch long (20 mm) round glass with metal ends. The electrical contacts are not in the cartridge but inside the printer: There is a plastic fuse holder on the cartridge, even the starter cartridge. You just simply pop it into the holder. This will stop the flashing red LED and the system tray will say the cartridge is full.

I have gotten this to print from the PC side, but it will not print from the MAC side. The software is installed. When I ask it to print, the light on the printer starts flashing and then the job stops. I am printing from Firefox. I just tried it from Word after deleting the other documents. It told me there are stopped jobs and I told it to go ahead anyway because I had deleted the stopped jobs. It seriously tried to print, whirring and flashing, but then the job stopped again. More than that, as others have said, it looks like it has not really let go of the stopped jobs, although they are no longer listed. This is pretty maddening!! Hope someone has an idea. I did use the CD to install the printer, although, and this may be relevant, I tried it first without it. Thanks steinph

I had the same problem and found the solution on the Apple discussion boards. Apparently, OSX 10.4 installs the printer as a Lexmark 510 series, not a Samsung ML-2510.
Just add a new printer and change the type from Lexmark 510 series to ML-2510 series.
Worked a charm for me!
