That could be caused by no paper, or jammed feed detection switches. If you cannot find the jam, you will need to expose the innards to check the various detection switches. Go to www.elektrotanya.com and find the service manual (it is in Hungarian language, but once you register you can get it in English. The SM is free, but will require some patience to go through the access process. Actually a nice challenge, and there is a TON of manuals there, as you will see.courtesy

I think there is a dust in a laser scanner mirror or inside on the optical elements of the laser scanner unit. Clean up that.or Develop roller is stained when the toner of developer cartridge is almost consumed.Check if the Toner Save mode is off.orBad contact caused by the toner stains in HVPS. hiThanks for posting.As said the problem is mostly with the paper source choosen by you in your PC. But to rule-out the problem do check and make sure the paper try is full with papers and also do check the sensor. Its an black color plastic which you can find it below the printer where you insert the paper tray. If its an old printer try to clean it with a cold Air blow completely and it should solve the prob.

I resolved this problem by re-installing the 2.00 driver from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/ML-2010.

try taking off the rear cover and holding down the plastic switch near the top of the circuit board. I have marked the location in the image below. When i was having trouble with this printer i just held it down towards the ground for around 10 seconds and it printed a test page just fine.

try to use a new USB cable maybe the problem is on the cable this transfers the data from your PC to the Printer this is a common issue for printers. Or update your printer driver.

Try downloading the latest drivers directly form Samsung. The link is below, at the top of the page click Driver, and on the list (right hand side) click the icon for Universal Print Driver. I would save the file to an easy to get to place (i.e. the desktop). After you download it, run it.

Hi, try to fixed the paper cassette tray and the cover it might sensing empty paper.

if you are running windows xp then follow these stepsGo to System Properties>Advanced Select Performance>Settings Select Data Execution Prevention Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select Click Add Paste this in to the file name box of the window that opens: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe Select Open Select OK when you receive the warning Select Apply And you will be printing again. Good luck.
