My Hp 6500 wireless won't do anything. The keypad on it won't even work. Any thoughts?

You don't say what trouble shooting you've done. So lets start with the basics: 1) make sure your power cable is plugged all the way in from the back of the printer to the power strip. Make sure your power strip is on. (cannot tell you how many times this has been my problem). Make sure the plugs on both sides of the transformer (the black box in the power cable) are plugged all the way in. I'd unplug and replug everything. 2) The power button on this machine is not real obvious. It is to the left and aligned with the top of the control panel screen. I've attached a picture. 3) if that doesn't do anything open the cartridge access panel. The machine should light up, give you an error message on the control panel. 4) if none of these work and you've rechecked your power, I'd take it back to where you purchased it. a07590f8-1e83-4f4f-a1ef-4926e972e99e.jpg

My HP 6500A Model E710a is not working or responding. I have C2FEO157 on the printer screen. What should I do?

If your printer screen is blue and shows and error code, the problem is less likely with the screen. Most likely there is some disconnected wiring or formatter board is bad. The two videos below may help you in this issue.:

If one of the colour catridge is empty or damaged, willthe printer will not do the printing jobs at all?

This might be the issue.... The paper still has to pass through the magenta even if its not used but being empty it might not register the toner hence not allowing you to print at all.

Printer will not pickup the paper from the tray. Message printer out of paper.

Have you checked for any paper jams? If there are no paper jams, remove the loaded paper and separate the pages by "fanning" the paper If all the above do not work, use a bit of rubbing alcohol on an earbud and clean the pickup points on the paper roller.

My HP 6500A plus is giving an error code 0.6101 bed. Do you know what the problem is, is it practical to repair.

Do you mean the error 0x6101bed? This appears to be an error with the printer carriage or the sensors that detect paper in the trays. Unplug the USB cable if you are using that connection before trying the steps below. Some people have solved the problem by turning off the printer and then removing the photo feed and output trays. Also remove any extras like a duplexer if you have one. Put in a sheet of plain paper. Then turn on the printer and quickly press the Menu button. Find the menu item for printer reports and select print status report (or a similar item). Push the paper gently into the printer pickup until the pickup spool catches the paper. Press Cancel and see if the printer ejects the sheet. Some people have found that adding a few extra power on/off power cycles (5-6) helps. Then try to to move the print cartridges (gently - do not force anything) while the printer is off. While you are trying to move the print cartridges, check for any foreign objects in the printer. (A small piece of paper can cause the bed error.) Make sure that the printer is on a firm surface wider than the printer. Pick it up and put it down again to shake things loose inside. At some point, the printer will go into a initialization step if you have solved the internal issue. If these don't help, it may be that the internal frame and the rail that the printer cartridges ride on is bent. Then the solution is probably to replace the printer. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Printer will not print colour

This could be your default print settings telling the printer to use mono all the time. Go into control panel or Devices and Printers, get the printer queue up, or the settings if you can remember where they are (i forgot!), click Printer then click properties. In the option tabs at the top, if it's the correct driver for the printer you should find an option under general called Preferences. Click this and you should find the default settings for the printer including paper sizes and colour/mono printing modes. Hope this helps?

Why won't my black cartridge won't print. i have new print head and cartidge

Make sure that the cartridge has it's plastic sealer tape off and make sure the cartridge is still a usable item - liquid if is should be liquid, etc. Worse case, get a lint-free cloth - soak a spot in hot wther and wipe the head off in one-direction only - then re-install. Next, insure you have gone through HP's steps to install a new cartridge and hopefully that will do it.

How to get rid of 'non-hp ink cartridge installed' warning that pops up everytime you try to print. The ink cartridge is not a guenuine hp product.

Download latest HP software and install it. After installed go into settings and dig thru it until you find the ink monitor settings, un check box and reboot computer and printer. The monitor should now be off. HP lost the lawsuit and was supposed to add an update to allow users to disable the ink monitors on most of their printers. Some are not under the lawsuit conditions so if you have one of these there is no way to defeat it, its all handled in printer IC board and not windows. HP Officejet 6500 no longer hears the dialtone. The line works fine with a regular phone, but not the printer. Up until a couple of days ago, it worked fine. The printer says the line is in use (wh

Usually on hook telephone line voltage around 40V DC +/- depends on exchange, voltage will drops below 12VDC if its half hook..You will get engage tone/usage tone if voltage drops less than 12V, in this condition you wont get any incoming calls. You need to open the printer formatter to locate the modem where telephone line inserted.. Let understand why this malfunction happens.. The ring voltage between the line is +120V AC, but it should not exceed more than 200V.. To protect the circuit, line will guarded by component called "VARISTOR". The Varistor will burns if voltage reaches specified or more voltage across it.. Once varistor burns U will get engage tone always... Basic multimeter is enough to check the varistor, put multimeter in diode mode, test both ends of varistor, it should not show zero value or beeping. Some times it may burn, blast or bulge. Remove the faulty component from the circuit with the help of soldering iron, connect the line & verify, if line is good replace with same rating of component.. Chk for the ring & dial tone... Req tools: Multimeeter, soldering iron, little paste & Led, screw driver set for opening the printer.. Depends on design varistor may fix accordingly which we need to find out the location.. But its always fixed between line in path. pl see the attached sample diagram. if you are non technical pl don,t try it...Best of luck.. 6f4a7950-5cc9-42c6-bb47-b2ba2007add0.jpg 21aa8d50-de72-49d9-a692-6c813c2c0768.jpgEx: Varistor ac224650-2c77-4de1-934f-929cbd6f0d15.jpg Damaged/burnt varistor
