There are several versions of this unit. If you do not have the manual for this model, I recommend performing a search and downloading it. The manual is an assembly manual. It details the parts. It also has a section on getting the treadclimber ready for transport. Hi There, No, all treadmills require a safety key for users that could fall or become tangled in a running machine. Most safety switches are simply a magnet that closes a Reed-Switch inside the console, some are a bit more complicated. Replacements can be found for these keys.
