Horizon CT 7.2 treadmill - the buttons that are located between the handles (where is the start button) aren't working.

Question edited for clarity. It is a Treadmill, not a THREADmill. Question moved from Video Consoles. Not a good idea posting your email address as a user name!! This site get 11 million viewers a year including thousands looking for addresses to harvest and spam. Fortunately most spare parts are still available. I was looking to see how the console gets its power, but it is not shown. Some use a small wall plug in transformer, so use a board transformer of the mains supply to the whole treadmill. You would need to trace with a multimeter. You could also clean behind the button with switch cleaner. https://www.fitnessrepairparts.com/equipment/Select/26678/Horizon/Horizon-CT7.2-2013-TM685B https://www.fitnessrepairparts.com/equipment/26678/diagrams/44632 https://www.google.com/search?q=Horizon+CT+7.2+treadmill+parts ..

Does the Horizon 7.0 AT have a fuse on the MCB?

Hey Sharon,Hope so you're doing fine, there is typically no separate fuse on the MCB (Main Circuit Board). The MCB itself is responsible for controlling the incline and belt functions of the treadmill. If the top board turns on but the incline and belt do not run, and the MCB is flashing a safety key error message, it suggests that the safety key might not be properly engaged or there could be an issue with the safety key sensor. To troubleshoot the problem, make sure the safety key is securely inserted into its slot and properly aligned. Check for any visible damage or debris that might be obstructing the safety key sensor. If the issue persists, it is recommended to consult the treadmill's user manual or contact Horizon customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or guide you through any potential repairs or replacements that may be necessary.Hope so this will work for you!Regards,Bryce JuneCEO & Founder of https://bbcorhitter.com/

Horizon T202-4 motor hot and burning smell

It sounds like there may be a problem with the control board or the wiring of the treadmill. The high temperatures you are experiencing on the control board and motor are not normal, and can cause damage to the machine. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the wiring of the treadmill to ensure that all connections are secure and that there is no damage to the wires.
  2. Make sure the motor is properly installed and that the belt is aligned and tightened correctly.
  3. Check the ventilation of the motor and control board to ensure that they are not overheating due to a lack of proper airflow.
  4. Check the amp draw of the motor and compare it to the specifications of the machine to ensure that it is operating within normal range.
  5. If the problem persists, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance.
It's also worth noting that, it may be the case that the new motor sent to you is faulty, or that the problem is not the motor itself but with another component of the treadmill. It may be a good idea to have a professional look into this issue and diagnose the problem before trying to replace another component.

Horizon Quantum Incline not working

The issue you are experiencing with the incline motor on your Horizon Quantum II treadmill could be caused by a variety of factors, including a problem with the motor itself, the control board, or the wiring. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the motor: As you mentioned, you were able to operate the motor when 230V was applied, which suggests that the motor itself may be functioning properly. However, you may want to test the motor further to confirm that it is not the cause of the issue.
  2. Check the control board: The control board is responsible for controlling the incline motor, as well as other components of the treadmill. If the control board is damaged or malfunctioning, it could be causing the issue you are experiencing. Test the board to see if it is functioning properly.
  3. Check the wiring: The wiring between the control board and the incline motor may be damaged or malfunctioning, which could be causing the issue. Check the wiring for any visible damage or loose connections, and test it to see if it is functioning properly.
If you are unable to troubleshoot the issue using the steps above, or if you are not comfortable working with electronic components, it is recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the treadmill.
