Hi there, I haven't had this issue on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5. However, I do click my lock after the video starts playing. Have you tried this? Perhaps locking yourself rather than letting the phone may be an easy fix. Hope this helps! If not please advise which iPhone and os version.
