Loud noise would indicate a high power draw. This is serious. You have either a dead short or a motor, power supply, or magnetron tube that is defective. The relay that turns on the microwave may also be defective. Usually it is not worth trying to repair. It will cost less just to buy another microwave. Careful shopping can save you a lot of money and still get a new unit for perhaps 1/2 of "retail" prices.

you can get the switches but you will need to disassemble the microwave. what makes you believe it is the switches?

if you can get the toaster elements it can be repaired but I suspect that as that combo unit is quite old , parts may be hard to come by

only 2 screws on right side inside casing opposite transformer

check door switch or replace magnetron

Yes, I have had the same problem repeatedly. It turns out, GFI's are not made for Microwaves, many electric motors, etc. I had to give up trying after a couple years. I now do not plug microwaves into GFI's. God bless your efforts.

A dead short somewhere in the microwave. I never recommend a DIY on a microwave. They store voltage that will kill you if you don't know what your doing, too they could make you glow in the dark if not shielded while servicing. Time for Tech service or replacement. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. BTW I assume you mean breaker in the breaker box not a GFIC breaker. If GFIC it could be a breaker that's gone bad.

did u check plug n internal fuse..lol. my diode that went to earth was the culprit coz my microwave leaked into base and diode to stop leakage to earth had blown

It's most likely your door switch. I have the same problem and was told that. I'm not 100% certain, but will take a look at mine and let you know.

Probably blew up the capacitor inside so now you hear the power transformer too.

1st try unplugging it and plugging it back in. 2nd The key pads can appear to be locked when it's just pushing the right buttons that fixes it. I have run into that more than once myself. I'm clever and it took me a while to find the right one. It usually had something to do with setting the clock. Try pushing each one from left to right & top to bottom just like you read. One of them probably will give you options. Not likely but it is possible it could be 2 buttons at the same time but I've never run into that.
