I have a SBS 5.1, only one speaker is working.

First test the "non working side" with the speaker which is on the good side. Hook it up on that side and turn on the system. Make sure to go from left to right to left on the volume control pop-up or in the control panel, if it is Windows.

If the test above indicates that you get no sound, then the sound card is suspect.

If this is a removable card, it may be possible to put another sound card in.

Problems with Creative Inspire M5300 and vista

It is sure to be the audio driver. You did not mention the brand of your pc or sound card. You need to download the audio driver from the manufacturer's site. It should be easy to find the drivers for Vista once you go to the manufacturers site and look for your PC model.

Need drivers to install for xp

Creative Labs has always been tough about making their sound drivers available. One trick I found was to go to www.hp.com or www.dell.com and look for creative lab sound drivers there. I have not had any luck getting them from Creative Labs usually I end up purchasing a inexpensive new sound card.

The pin of my headset bend and now it works only

This is not easy to fix as the connector is usually molded plastic. If you have access to a soldering iron of low wattage (25W) and a small tip you might be able to replace the complete cord all the way to the headphones. This type of job is not quick and wires have to be disconnected at the earpiece. Sorry.

Cant set time or alarm for grundig s350

Hi,

TO SET THE CLOCK

First the radio must be turned off to set the clock. With the radio turned off, hold down the TIME button for three seconds, then release it. The time display will flash. While it is flashing press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the correct time. After setting the correct time, immediately press the TIME button to finalize the entry. If the TIME button is not pressed, the display will automatically finalize the entry after about five seconds. While setting the time, the HOUR and MINUTE buttons can be held down to advance the time faster.

TO SET THE ALARM

With the radio powered off hold down the ALARM SET button for about three seconds or until the time digits start flashing, then release it. While they are still flashing press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the turn-on time, then immediately press the ALARM SET button again. If the ALARM SET button is not pressed immediately, the turn-on time will automatically set itself to the time you selected anyway after 5 seconds.

To activate/deactivate the alarm feature - With the radio turned off, press the AL ON/OFF
button, causing the symbol of a speaker to appear in the upper right corner of the display.

When the speaker symbol is in the display, the alarm feature is activated. When it is not
in the display, it is deactivated.

Once the speaker symbol displays in the screen - the radio must then be left turned off for the alarm feature to function.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer as ratings are important to me as an expert on this site. Many Thanks.

Earphone problem

Check the audio balance on whatever device you are using your headphones with. There may be nothing wrong with the headphones. If thats not it than replacing them is the only thing you can do.

Sound card problem

Hi Miong u,
Untill you install the sound drivers, your computer won`t recognise your sound card.

Go HERE (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=828&OSFullName=Windows*+2000&lang=eng&strOSs=19&submit=Go%21) and download, and install your audio drivers.

You can download the driver from intel website depending on the O.S
Might I also suggest you download your chipset drivers as well.

Thanks for using Fixya.
Do rate the solution as "Fixya" if 100% satisfied.

IN MY SYSTEM UNFORTUNATELY UNINSTALLED THE DRIVER

You can try this:
I am assuming you have a PC based sound system.

1. Remove your Creative Labs Home Theater from your PC. You should remove all hardware.
2. If you have Windows, go to "Control Panel"
3. Select "Add or Remove Programs"
4. Delete all Software releted to your Creative Labs System
5. Go to http://www.creative.com/language.asp?sDestUrl=/support/downloads
6. Download the appropriate driver for your system
7. Reinstall the system with the new driver

You could try your CD ROM after completely deleting the software from your PC, but I think I'd just try the downloaded version. The important thing is to completely remove all hardware and software before reinstalling.
