Netflix content error sony bravia tv
I have two Sony TVs (KDL-46HX729 and KDL-55EX700) and suddenly three weeks ago, I got nothing but
"Content Error" every time I tried to stream any Netlix content.
All other internet content worked fine. I could see my Netflix queue
and make changes to it, but couldn't view any title on either TV.
Netflix worked fine on all other devices. Netflix said
all was fine on their end (after deactivating and reactivating the account on
both TVs).
Sony said all was fine on their end (after factory reset).
ISP said
all was fine with the line.
Router manufacturer said all was fine with the router. Speedtests revealed plenty of speed for streaming.
At some point, I also was told to change primary and secondary dns on the TVs to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). No effect.
Finally, Sony suggested I create a new (free
trial) Netflix account and lo and behold that account worked fine. Netflix said I could just use that new
account, although they could see nothing wrong with my old account. I was
about to do that, but had the fear that this problem would just happen again
and I'd be back to square one. Finally, deep in an internet search
yesterday, I found someone who said they had fixed a similar problem by
deleting their Netflix instant queue. I tried it (I was about to lose my
queue anyway by switching to a brand new account). So, I deleted all items in my queue.
Made no immediate difference, but I tried Netflix again after a few hours
and IT SUDDENLY WORKED FINE. 24 hours now and Netflix is still fine on
both TVs. My fingers are crossed. I suspect it has something to do with the way Sony TVs buffer the content; the large number of items in the queue were taking up space somehow.
Sony Bravia 46 XBR has the input bar stuck at the top of screen.
Unplug the TV for a while and hopefully, that should reset the circuity. If you're using the original remote control, check for the display button and press it.
I would also suggest doing a factory reset if your TV has that feature and if the TV allows you to do it after unplugging it.

The front and back pieces are like a clam shell and are compression fit with tabs into one another. You need to use something like a guitar pick or spudger to separate the pieces. Dont use metal objects due to damage that will happen to the plastic .
How can I watch Netflix on a tv Sony wega that isn’t hooked to the internet. It’s wirelessly connected to Vizio ( smart tv Netflix built in) but I want to be able to watch in a different room

do you have internet at home at all?
do other things in home work to the internet, like PC or cell phones.
what I can not under stand is (different room) this phase
implies some rooms do work (netflex)
and wifi gets weak if my move any TV farther from the home router
and will fail past 25 feet or more. wifi is super weak through walls
for sure brick, or 2 walls.
if home is small one wifi access point is all you need
if huge home more.
distance matter, TV to router.
no TV model # told. (tells me wifi spec)
if you said my TV works in room 1 but not room 2, wifi;.
it be super more easy to answer.. is this true?
if true , get a tech to upgrade your wifi.
or go wired, Ethernet.(a better home upgrade)
