Hi there, It sounds like your anti-virus is blocking your communication. Try disabling your anti-virus, reboot, then reconnect the PC's.

Go to my computer control panel network connections and see if the setup for networking is correct DHCP should work most of the time. Check the device manager and see if your nic is properly recognized. If not you might need to install drivers for the card.

Also, sign onto your router and see if the router recognizes the computer.

It should tell you how to do this in the routers manual.

Code 10 means DRIVERS COULD NOT BE INSTALLED. Try installing the drivers manually.

Do this if pc is XP.
1.Keep the wireless adapter connected to the pc
2:Go to control panel, add/remove programs. Remove the wireless adapter software
3:Restart the computer, when the found new hardware wizard shows up click on it, click NO NOT THIS TIME, then select install from a list of specific location. On the next page Click on DON'T SEARCH, I WILL CHOOSE THE DRIVERS TO INSTALL.

4.HIGHLIGHT NETWORK ADAPTERS on the hardware type, the CLICK HAVE DISC

5.Click BROWSE to set the location of your drivers
6.Open the driver folder, then the pc should copy the files.

You can find the details of the operator and the state they belong to .the operators wont reveal the address and name of any mobile numbers only higher officials can only get those information.

I am sure it is now toast and you cannot downgrade if the wrong firmware has been installed. I would ask D-Link.

the manual is free , at dlink dot com you push the reset button for long time per manual 15sec (iirc) the release it and now all defaults are set. per the manual, google dir-655 manual. easy as pie if you just read the manual.

There's a reset button on the back of the router, it's a small button that you can press using a paper clip. Press it for 15 seconds to reset it.

Reset 1:
Press the reset button for 15 seconds at the back of the router while the router is on.

Reset 2:
Press the reset button for 15 seconds while the router is on after 15 seconds unplug the power cord while holding the reset button then count another 15 seconds and release the reset button. Then plug the power cord back in.

Reset 3:
Press the reset button for 15 seconds while the router is on after 15 seconds unplug the power cord while holding the reset button then count another 15 seconds and plug the power cord back in while the reset button is plugged in and count another 15 seconds release the reset button.
