Hello I have a PFAFF 1163 and would like to know , What type and size is the bobbin for this machine???

From the parts list available here: https://www.universalsewing.com/tek9.asp?pg=parts_pfaff . The Pfaff 1163 uses the JGN139-8 bobbin. I found one vendor in the US here: http://www.pennsewparts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PF-JGN139-8 . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I have a Pfaff 7570 machine and recently the presser foot has begun to move in slow motion or needs me to actually push the foot down?

How long since it has been serviced? Sounds to me like it may need some cleaning and oiling.

Hi! I recently purchased a used Pfaff 1222E machine and the needle is hitting the bobbin shuttle assembly, even without the bobbin or bobbin case inserted. Help please! Does something need to be adjusted?

Doesnt look good... the center point appears to have an issue. See following video.

I bought a Pfaff 6122 and it is so clean it looks like it has never been used, however, none of the stitch buttons will do anything. It is quiet and sews straight stitches, but no others. WhY?

On that machine you need to set the “width” knob to 5 or 6, as well as select an appropriate stitch to achieve a zig zag type stitch.

My embroidery unit won't start in pfaff 7560 when hoop is in place

You should not place the hoop into the embroidery unit of the Creative 7560 until you see a prompt "Cover and insert frame 120" (or 80 if using the small hoop) on the LCD display. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/504999/Pfaff-Creative-7560.html?page=91#manual . This allows the sewing machine to freely test/calibrate the embroidery unit. Other Pfaff machines, for example the Pfaff Creative 3.0, prompt you to remove the hoop and clear the embroidery unit area for it to do this step. (For this information see page 7:3 (75 of the PDF) of the Creative 3.0 manual: http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/creative-line/creative3_0/Manual/creative_3_0-manual-EN.pdf .) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

My pfaff 2170 does not recognize my smallest (80mm x 80mm) hoop. It recognizes all my others. I tried powering my machine off, including just unplugging it while the error was displaying.

Do you have the hoop adapter connected to the embroidery unit when you use the 80x80 hoop? This is an accessory that was in the original accessory kit. The small 80 x 80 hoop will not be recognized without it. See page 5:40 (page 138 of the PDF) of the manual for information on the hoop adapter. If the hoop adapter is connected, you should see a prompt to identify the current hoop on the sewing machine screen. The manual is available from Pfaff here: http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/creative_2170-manual-EN.pdf?ext=.pdf . If you do have the adapter in place, please add a comment about any messages on the screen. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I have a Pfaff 2010 - it will sew 2 stitches and then it jams - it kinda goes to the side and then won't go -

Sounds like a big wad of cotton stuck in the bobbin carrier. Take the bobbin carrier out and clean out all the stuff. Here is a website that has a manual available and also can answer questions. https://www.manualsearcher.com/pfaff/tiptronic-2010/manual Regards Geoff

How to fill bobbins on Pfaff 332

The Pfaff 332 has a stop motion mechanism that is a small knob in the middle of the hand wheel. This disengages the needle and allows you to wind the bobbin without having to check on the material to be sewn. Hold the hand wheel so that it will not move. Turn the stop motion knob counter-clockwise (turn the knob all the way to the left). Put a second spool of thread (of appropriate weight and color) on the right hand pin. Lead the thread from the spool around the thread retainer clockwise. Pull the thread into the guide and then push the thread through the slot in the bobbin from inside the bobbin. Place the bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle so that the key at the base of the spindle enters the slot in the bobbin. Press the lever into the bobbin. Hold onto the thread end and slowly start to wind the bobbin. After a few winds of the thread, break off or cut the thread that is above the bobbin. Continue winding the bobbin (at any speed). When the bobbin is full the lever will automatically move back to its original position. (If you do not need a full bobbin, move the lever when the bobbin is sufficiently full.) Remove the bobbin from the bobbin winder spindle and cut it free of the spool thread. Return the stop motion mechanism to the right by turning it clockwise while holding the hand wheel. Pfaff has a manual for the 332-260 on their support page: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support-and-Updates/Support . The link to the machine page is http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support/3421 . The current link to this manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/pfaff_332-260-manual-EN.PDF . See pages 13-14 of the manual for some pictures of the guides and levers. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I was changing the needle on my serger and I cant get the new needle into the machine. This is embarrassing. I've sewn for years and never had this happen. I have a pfaff coverlock 4872

Perhaps you have overly loosened the screw. Try tightening it back a bit. Sometimes when it is overly loosened it changes the angle in the needle clamp space.

Is there a manual for pfaff hobby 309

Yes, there is a manual for the Pfaff Hobby 309. The Hobby 309 support page is http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support/278 . The current link to the manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Pfaff_307_309_Hobby-manual-EN-ES-FR-IT.PDF?ext=.pdf . Many other Pfaff manuals can be found by looking for the machine name in the Select Your Machine drop-down menu on the support page: http://www.pfaff.com/Support-and-Updates/Support . I hope this helps. You can also find a copy of the manual at ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Pfaff-Hobby-309-2912366.html . If you wish a printed copy, you'll need to print it yourself. See a copy shop (Kinko's, UPS store) if you want a bound copy. Cindy Wells

Can't adjust tension on pfaff 1475 cd. thread all bunched up underneath. have rethreaded it and adjusted tension.

Hi, Your problem is the UPPER tension. The thread may not be getting between the tension discs. Try this: Make sure the presser foot is up and thread the machine stopping short of the eye of the needle. Pull on the thread and it should move easily, Now drop the presser foot and you should feel tension on the thread. Adjust the tension up and down and you should feel a difference. If there is no change then there is something keeping the tension discs open. Bob
