Follow the instructions on this D-Link page (it shows DI-614, but it is the same procedure for your model):
Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.

Set Secutiry on Router http://192.168.0
Posted by rpshippit on
On a dlink dir-600, after enabling access point mode, the configuration web-pages are no longer found after entering 192.168.0.1 on IE

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
If you are still not able to access it with above ip then press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router. Then you can access it with 1 of the above ip.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

My D-Link DIR-615 wireless n router has a gateway of 192.168.0.1. I type this into the URL, and it won't work. I can access this router from every other computer on my network by doing this. It isn't the wireless card, because I've tried doing it with multiple wireless cards. I also cannot access files from other computers. My operating system is Windows XP Media Center. I've already tried turning the firewall off. The internet on my computer works fine. I can change the IP address of the wireless card on this computer, so apparently the router sees the computer fine.

I posted a solution I was given on May23. I fogo my password and I was entered as a guest. In addition to the information I furnished above, I also spoke with a tech from my DSL carrier (Embarq), this tech had me do a reset on modem and router. When this did not work they transferred me to the tech from Netgear who furnished me with the information that I passed on. My next idea is to go to Circuit City and speak to Firedog and see if they might have some insight. I will pass along any information I find out.

The status light stops blinking after I turn the router on and no internet browzing possible.
I pushed the reset button and tried other stuff but no good result.
Should I buy new one or is there any way to get it fixed?

To reset your router, use the following steps:
The unit should now reboot, and once the WLAN light stops blinking the router should be reset.
