No it is NOT, most probably a spooling problem, or may need more RAM. some jobs depending on size and type can take a long time to spool, and print, try setting print quality lower too this helps.

If the other computers are connecting OK through the wireless, then the problem is with the computer that won't connect. Is the problem computer a laptop or desktop computer?

are you able to go online when you connect the computer directly to the modem without the router. ?
Or you have the user name and password for the ISP.

If you can't turn it on you need to update the bios. http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/08/acer-aspire-one-bios-recovery.html There is a problem with the original Bios it shipped with. You need to be more detailed with your problem as well. Seeing as I own this netbook x2 I can see what your problem is.

If the router is a modem router (one of those with phone line plug )

then you need to follow instructions given by your Internet Provider, rather than following instructions on router manual.

You connect the router to phone and connect computer to the router with an ethernet cable.
Turn on the router, open Internet explorer on computer and type in internet explorer bar router IP (eg 192.168.0.1, the number is on router manual)
If you entered the right number , the router panel will open, enter user name and password listed on manual.
At this point you need to enter the details provided from your ISP.
If you do not have details call the ISP toll free phone number to be guided step by step in setting the router.

If router is not a modem router, then ensure that you connected to the modem device using the Wan/Internet RJ45 connector at the back of the router.

go to start menu then type in run "ping yahoo.com -t"

If you get reply then your ip addreses is ok.
then you need to restart your dns service of computer.
For that go to start menu then type in run "services.msc"
then you see in right side "DNS CLIENT"
right click on it and stop then restart it again same way.
then restart computer then check.
If problem still arise then check ip sub net and gateway of other computer on which your working fine then set ip address again

please call dlink tech support at 877-453-5465. just an advise on how to handle the call when you reach dlink tech support (agent); do not agree to call back after you troubleshoot with them (they'll be giving you a case id reference# and be advising you to check your pc or call "who" and call them back to continue the troubleshooting). insist to the agent that he need to resolve the problem asap (by the way, agents are not allowed to drop the call or they'll be dead-history!). and if the agent still insisted you to call back, ask for a "senior level technician" to finish the job (escalate the problem).
fyi: dlink tech support handling time to resolve a call is 15 to 18 minutes only. if you reach that 15-18 minutes (max) time the agent will think of a way for you to call back (advising you to check with your pc manufacturer, check with your ISP, call microsoft to update your software, etc... non-sense!) they need to do this in order to reach their handling time (agents need to reach 21 to 25 billable calls, and billable calls are "solution provided", "resolved", and "dropped call"). ---- believe me, i was one of them and repented.

You're not telling us much. What's the OS and what have you tried? Wired or wireless? This problem is usually solved by resetting the router to defaults and starting over, following the directions carefully.

hold down the reset button for 30seconds. it should restore the device to defaults if that has no effect unplug for 5minutes and try again.-

what you do is to reboot your desktop and everything will be fine or either unplug or disable and enable the status of the connestion. But the best way is to reboot the system. Good luck

try a power cycle. unplug the power from the back of your modem. unplug the power from your router. shut down the computer. Plug the modem in frist wait until lights are normal. Check your cables make sure the modem is plugged into the wan port. then power on your router. wait until lights are normal plug in your laptop with a cat5 cable. start up the laptop see if your able to access the internet with the cable plugged in.

If so great your on line. open ie and goto your router ip address which i think is 192.168.0.1. its in your manual anyway. goto the wireless tab and make sure your wireless is enabled in the dlink router.


If your internet is not working then you need to setup your pppoe connection if your on dsl. and then do the wireless set up. default is usualy the ssid. [

You can try to reset your Router by using a pen or a paper click there is a little whole in the back of your router that you can click with a pen. This should restart the modem. If this doesn't work you can hold the reset button but this will restore the router to factory default settings

You can find the details of the operator and the state they belong to .the operators wont reveal the address and name of any mobile numbers only higher officials can only get those information.

I am sure it is now toast and you cannot downgrade if the wrong firmware has been installed. I would ask D-Link.
