Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

What type of camera are you using? Most companies have free software downloads on their websites.

FINEPIX Z85/Z90 Series. DIGITAL CAMERA. Owner's Manual. (PDF format)

However, the easier way (for me) is using a card reader.
Once you checked that all pictures are copied to your computer, insert the memory card back into the camera and either delete all or format the memory card.

You should go to the fuji website (http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/)  find your camera and email or contact them about the warranty.  They will either direct you to contact a local dealer and give you an authorization code or they will ask you to send in the camera direct to them which would probably be the best bet.

Hello gtrin... In most cases the photos are still in the laptop. Just look in the start menu under "pictures" or "recent items". The images are also still retrievable from the camera, even after you delete them. If you don't locate them yourself on the laptop, take the camera and the laptop to your local staples store, or computer repair shop. There they will have software to retrieve the images or they will offer a service to retrieve them for you for a small fee. Joe

Thanks for chooosing Fixya!

The best way to add a date/time stamp or another watermark to your photo is to use watermark software like Bitwar Watermark Expert.
Add Watermark
So users need to download and install the best watermark software on the computer system first. Then, users can choose Watermark Photo or Watermark Video tool based on the required file format but the steps below will show how to add watermark to photo:
Step 1: Choose the Watermark Photo tool and upload the image file into the software.
Step 2: Choose Add Text to add text watermark or Add Image to add image watermark to the picture.
Step 3: Type in the text into the textbox as text watermark and edit the watermark by editing the Font, Size, Rotate, Opacity, and Position. Besides, browse the Image to insert as image watermark and edit the image through the Size, Rotate, Opacity, and Position.
Step 4: After finish editing the watermark, click Apply to start the conversion.
Step 5: When the conversion is complete, tap on Open Path to preview the new photo.

First remove and charge or replace the batteries on your mystery camera.

If that doesn't fix the problem, the linkage inside has come adrift. It will need professionally repairing.

Adjust, amend or otherwise alter the menu setting that is causing this. Blinking on a screen is generally indicative of an error or mismatch in the settings for the equipment.

Because that card is Waaaay beyond the specs! Did you read the manual??

The memory card (SD/SDHC) is
optional and not included in all
camera packaging. It needs to be
purchased separately. Please use an
original memory card which is Class
4 or higher and has a capacity of

4GB to 32GB.
