Will it charge when connected to your computer then recover your data. Open replace the battery with a fully charged one to see if the charge circuit is at fault. Buy a new one

The ebooks and audiobooks purchased by you for your Amazon account from Amazon are actually a LICENCE to read/listen to the digital media.
Therefore NO you can not sell or otherwise share, pass on, copy, exchange, lend, loan, rent etc. etc. your books.

If you've got an email authorizing same from Amazon, either as a result of a web query, or a telephone call (866-321-8851) then you can have no concerns sending your Kindle to the address they provided. And you don't have to worry about whether they will take care of your Kindle. The chances are pretty close to 100% that they will send you a new one

You will have to get a hold of Amazon tech support to get the password reset.

Books read can be removed from the shelf by holding on a book and selected remove. Books will be removed from the Kindle but will remain in the cloud. To remove books from the cloud, you need a laptop computer to manage your cloud folder on Amazon. Once books are removed from your cloud folder, they can't be replaced unless you repurchase the book.

Books can be removed from the carousel by pressing down on the book cover and selecting remove from carousel.

It may be the power cord but it is possible that your Kindle Fire's battery has died. If you noticed the battery life diminishing before it started flashing a red battery symbol this may be the case. Here is a site that has replacement batteries for the Kindle Fire:
