Box is not detecting channels

Thanks for the answers and explanations. I'm going to purchase a Linux STB on switchonshop and now I'm trying to figure out all the things concerning TV boxes, applications, installation. It's not that difficult as far as I understand but still I have to pay attention to many aspects.

The USB Drive on my setup box says there is no USB partition

You probably have to format the drive to FAT32
You can do that in a PC

No or bad signal?

i would check the antenna connection, - try popping the antenna into the back of a tv and see if it tunes, if it does the box may be a fail

also this could be caused by localised cordless phones being too close or 4g signal, so check other tv if u have any first and or swap boxes over to check
