I have a pfaff creative 4 and it won't zig zag, just keeps saying that the machine is set for straight stitch. How do I change this? changing the stitch width setting doesn't make any difference

Look under the tools menu. There should be a setting for straight stitch needle plate or something like that. good luck! Wayne

Bobbin not in position, won't let me get cotton from bottom - snags on part

Look for bent bits! Also try a new bobbin/ if it's the type that locks into position, there maybe an issue with the lock on that bobbin. Once you load the bobbin, slowly turn the flywheel intil you feel the thread snag and see where the boo in is facing-will give you a better chance of solving issue. Also, if there is a thread tensioner, turn it way down....

Removing top cover on pfaff creative 4.0 embroidery machine

May be, you have not the right tools to open your pfaff chassis. In your case I prefer to get support from pfaff: http://www.pfaff.com/de/692.htmlIt's a risk to open the chassis, you can't see, where it is fixed. If you try to open, the risk is high your pfaff will take damage.
