*this is for a windows computer
well i do not understand your problem but for the sake that you would want to take pictures for Christmas i will help. Ok, go to your computer. you are there. If you have a cable that connects to the computer via usb and connects to your sd card on the other end, read this. if not, skip to the next pargraph. Ok, plug the cable in to the computer and sd card. if something like adobe photoshop comes up, click stop then close it. open 'my computer' on the start pannel. go to cd drive 'F' and go through whatever folders there are to get to your images. im assuming you want to keep them so minimize my computer and right click on the desktop. go to 'new' and go down to folder. if you dont want them on the desktop do it on my documents or my pictures or whatever you want. name your folder and open my computer. go up a folder using the up a folder icon on the top and take the folder where the images are or cd drive f and drag it to your new folder. then hilight all the images again and still holding left click press right click and go down to delete. there your card is empty and the images are on the computer.

Error message: battery cover open
try closing the battery cover. if you do not know what that is, it is where the sd card and the battery are held. the cover for that is the battery cover. if it is closed, and still not working, make sure its closed all the way, if it is, take it to best buy or circut city or any other electronics store and ask them.
Memory card
try a 512mb because your camera could be older then the 1 and 2gb memory cards can handle...or depending on where you are..you could take it to Best buy and they could tell you...hope it helped =)

You can find a replacement charger according to the brand and model of your camera. There are very cheap ones at ebay:

For Olympus:

Dc-t50 won't transfer pictures onto my computer
Hey roboticgirl,
What is most likely causing this are the drivers that run the included software have either been accidentally deleted or they need to be updated. I would reinstall the software that came with the camera, or you could purchase a card reader and upload your pictures to your computer that way which should not require any drivers other than the ones in your operating system. I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Allan

Dear Sirs,
The lends on my camera will not open. The light comes on in the view screne and shows Error 3 on it. I have no idea what it means. What I meant is that it will not open is that the lends will not open out completly it opens to about a 1/4" to 3/8" and is stuck there. How can I get it to open completly or must I sent it to your shop to get open?
TECHNICAL PROBLEM WITH MY WEBCAM.
I fixed my problem. Go to my computer, control panel, uninstall or change a program, double click on camera assisance software for gateway, Click on Repair & let the computer repair it. It worked for me.
Camera not working
Could be back light has failed[ can you see any feint images at all?
Or a connector has come adrift
or a board failure of some kind.
If the camera if fairly new then get onto Gateway tech support.
If it has no warranty left -I fear the price of a repair will be more than the camera is worth
but you can try for a repair.

I havd the same problem. The contacts arent pushing the card in far enough to be recognized. Ive been stuffing a small piece of folded paper in there to push it down. Its annoying, but solves the problem.
Digital Camera error
thats the most common trouble in digital cameras, it last for around three years working in good condition. try to locate the backup battery , its a small button like battery. also try another memory card, your card maybe has a virus.
