Scanner Symbol Ls2208 keyboard not work
The scanner does not detect the keyboard
host on power up and is locking up your keyboard. The IBM PC/AT host type barcode must be scanned the first
time it is setup. The barcode is on Adobe page 56 of 342
of the LS2208 Product Reference Guide
. The scanner should start working immediately after the host type barcode is scanned.

The scanner must be set to the IBM PC/AT host type. Unfortunately, these scanners are not plug and play. They do not detect the keyboard host on power up so the host type barcode must be scanned the first time it is setup. It should remember that host type until you set defaults. The IBM PC/AT host type barcode is on Adobe page 56 of 342 of the LS2208 Product Reference Guide
. Print and scan this barcode. The scanner should start working immediately.
