If yes, you have defrost parts failure.
If no, check the compressor fan motor. Is it running?

seems to me that the freezer control motor is not pushing the freezing gas around cooling the unit. Suggest an engineer.

You are lucky it lasted this long. Replace it. Parts are not available, and if they were, the cost to repair the unit is far more than a new Fridge.

There is a dead short line to line or line to ground. The dead short can be detected with a electric continuity tester connected across the load side of the mains (power shut off) and opening covers and inspecting the wiring.

Check the condenser is clean, and you can hear the compressor humming. Also check the door shuts properly

Does it ever actually reach the temp set? It may just need cleaning and a service so it cuts out at the right temp.

That sounds like a defrost issue the timer may be bad or the heater element or the limit switch. Most of the time one would replace all three. One can try the defrost timer by advancing it to see if the heater comes on. you do not leave them alone they may have refrigerant flowing through them. look in your owners manual/instructions for more info.
