How to load Integrated Wireless LAN on my toshiba satellite a45-s1202
If your Toshiba Satellite notebook computer is equipped with a wireless Internet card, you can connect to a Wi-Fi access point by turning on the wireless switch on the side of the laptop. However, the signal may not always be picked up by your wireless receiver; if that is the case, you will need to check your wireless-network settings and reconfigure the network connections manually. Open the Network Settings program. Click on the Control Panel in your "Programs" bar and select "Network Settings." This will give you options for modifying how you connect to the Internet. Select "Connect to a Network" or "Show Network Status and Tasks." Both selections will show you whether you are disconnected from the wireless network. Select "Manage Network Connections." This selection is located on the left side of the window; clicking on it will show you whether you are connected to a local area connection or wireless network connection. Engage the wireless connection. Turn your wireless switch to "On," then right-click on the wireless network connection. Select "Connect/Disconnect." Wait for the IP address acquisition. It may take a few minutes for your Toshiba Satellite to pick up the signal and transmit your IP address. When this is complete, you will see the word "Connected" next to the name of your wireless connection, and a series of bars that indicate signal strength. Launch your favorite browser to access the Internet using the wireless connection.

Any authorized toshiba dealer can remove the password for you (or should be able to) and some will do it for free, but you must take the unit in.
If you cannot find one locally, you can ship the unit to me, and I will remove the password for $25. You must pay shipping.

When on turn on computer you get the toshiba start
If there is a problem and the mother board is not happy with a configuration or ancilliary device, it will not POST and show the TOSHIBA Bios screen.
Has anything been added to it since the last time it worked?
Has an attempt at upgrading the firmware been made, Bios etc?
If the Bios was upgraded and the source was from othere than Toshiba, it is more likely to be corrupt, it may have picked up something on the way in or just not completed upgrading. In which case there is not a lot you can do to it.
I would get it returned to a Toshiba Authorised Dealer, for service.
Hope that helps.

When I turn on my
This can happen if the drive is corrupted, or the drivers for the drive are not loaded in the BIOS of the machine. The first is much more likely.
Try going to a local computer store and purchasing a new 2.5" hard drive. The amount of space is your choice. There is usually some screws on the bottom of laptops holding down a door that houses the hard drive. Remove the old hard drive, then remove the hard drive caddy. Attach the caddy to the new hard drive and insert it into the computer. Try installing again. If you can't find the hard drive door, consult the user's manual.
There could be a rare chance that the motherboard of the computer is compromised if the new drive is not found either. Consult a local computer shop if that is the case. You may need to replace the motherboard.

How can I go into the BIOS of a Toshiba Satellite
could be a bit cramped, sort of like showering in your watch!
Now to be serious, under neeath the toshiba is a small trap door with either a single or two screws. This is where the ram is contained. Undo this hatch and look for two pins ( might have to stand ram up or remove it) look for two small pins like a male plug You maqy have seen these types of pins before Sometimes covered with a little black square cap. Well these pins have no cap but if you short them across with a paper clip that will remove passoword to bios. replace ram, shut and rescrew the hatch and all is now ready for a new password or no password Now if I have misunderstood you and you just wantr to edit the bios on startup press F2
Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

The power lamp winks in orange color and the pc
When the battery pack needs replacing, the main battery light flashes amber (orange) shortly after you have fully recharged the battery. (Owner's Manual, page 130)
For the laptop to power up, you need to replace the battery.
If you found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rate my answer. Thanks!
