Just restore your system from a backup taken before the error code started. If you have no backup then you need to format your hard disk and do a complete reinstall of all your software.

If you know the DVD and the DVD drive is in proper working order, it could mean that the software you are running just may have some problems. Try downloading a copy of VLC (VideoLan Client) this application is free and open source (and no it's not something I created and am just trying to get people to use...it's just something that works great, and completely free) VLC can play almost any video file or DVD that it encounters. If VLC can't play it, I would think it's likely there may be something with your disk or your DVD drive.

If you want to play DVDs from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmware to make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrong firmware the player will be a piece of junk. The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece of software (Passkey for DVD) that allows you to play DVDs from any region and Passkey for Blu-ray that allows you to play Blu-rays from any region. There are several available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: - www.dvdfab.com/products,free.htm

Hello,Do you have a wifi card in the computer? It is a hardware part that you need so that the computer can connect to the wifi. If you have that but can't find it in the operating system. I suggest that you either install or update the driver for it. You can use RadarSync to scan your computer for the available updates of your wifi driver. Make sure that you connect to the internet first using your ethernet so that it will detect the available driver updates somewhere in the databases of the manufacturer. Davidhttp://goo.gl/CxsY9u

Remove the battery and see if it starts up fine, if not then try the following: 1. Unplug your charger cord. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds or longer 4. Now plug back in the power/charger cord. 5. Now put the battery back in. 6. See if it starts up now, laptops often get stuck in hibernate mode.

  • The CMOS is, in basic terms, the part of the motherboard that stores the BIOS settings. To remove the BIOS password from your Toshiba laptop, your best option is to forcibly clear the CMOS. To clear the CMOS, you must remove the battery from your laptop and leave it out for at least 30 minutes to an hour. The way to remove the battery from your Toshiba will largely depend on the model. A common way to remove the battery--particularly with newer models--is to release the battery lock on the bottom of the laptop, while sliding the accompanying tab over to the side. This will pop the battery out from its tray so that you can then pull it out all of the way out. Before you remove the battery, turn off the laptop and remove the AC adapter. Otherwise, you could end up harming yourself or the laptop components. You must also ground yourself to prevent damaging the laptop with static electricity. After about a half an hour or more, return the battery back to its tray and lock it into place. Power on the laptop. The computericon1.png, ideally, should no longer ask you for a BIOS password. It's important to keep in mind that resetting the CMOS means that all of your BIOS settings will be reset to factory default. Also, sometimes you may need to leave out the battery for much longer than an hour to reset the password.
  • If resetting the CMOS doesn't work, then your next bet is to try using a backdoor password. A backdoor password is basically a password that manufacturers include with the BIOS so that technicians can access the computersicon1.png that people send in for repair. An example of a Toshiba backdoor password is, unsurprisingly, "Toshiba." When the BIOS prompts you to enter a password, entering "Toshiba" may allow you to access your PC and clear the old BIOS password. Another option is to hold the left "Shift" key down while booting.
