Mouse frozen how do i get it to work please

I do not know what make and model battery you have but one of the following should help.Change batteries. Unplug it and plug it back again. If it has a receiver that plugs in the USB port play with the connect button on the mouse and possibly on receiver.

Frozen mouse with a touch pad laptop computer

Many laptops have a button, usually located right above the touchpad, that disables the touchpad.

And there may be drivers that need to be loaded for some touchpads to operate properly, in case you've reinstalled the OS.

SD card slot -

The slot is for multiple card formats, usually SD/CF/xD/MMC etc...

Look at it closely you should see different contact points inside, your sd card should slip into one of the slots inside the larger slot.

BUT!!! Some user guides are printed for entire families of notebooks and mention all the available options for that type of notebook. Your laptop might not have come with an SD card slot at all even if it is mentioned in the book.

Toshiba Satalite M35 x, trying to clear bios

I copied this info from a website since it needs a very particular solution. The only time I had to use it, it worked.
Go to setup (if it lets you) and check the BIOS brand and version.
(If you cant do anything due to the password, then you need some hardware to do that). I hope this helps

Coffe spill now screen on lap top not working

No magic fix here Philip. The only thing to do is immediately remove ALL power, AC adapter (Charger) and Battery, and open the laptop up, remove the CMOS Battery, (RTC Battery), and dry it out THOROUGHLY. After you are SURE all components inside the laptop are dry, reassemble. Install the Battery, then the AC adapter. Plug into power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the laptop on.[ On ships they use old coffee to clean the deck. It has powerful acids in it. No sound

iN this case you have to reinstall the driver fro the sound card ..and in case you do not have it ...you need to get to the support site of Toshiba ..and download it ..The thing is that they only provide drivers for windows XP and older ...cause the notebook was made for this operation system ...If you have other OS ..it will either get the driver automatically so you have to install it ..or you will have to look for it on internet forums ...If it supports vista or windows 7 ..it means someone might have the driver ..or ..you can even try with the one for xp ..and it may work ..Here is the link for the support site of your model http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=882438&rpn=PSA72U&modelFilter=M35X-S161&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663Good luck and do not forget to rate 1..Thank you for using Fixya !
