What camera is it? On most older film cameras you lift the rewind crank to release the back or a separate lock for the back. Not having a film in will not affect the back opening mechanism. Check the book for your camera.

I had the same problem a few minutes ago. You don't need to unscrew any of the fixing but make sure the larger silver bolt is not tight. The instructions are: 1. Use your thumb to push down the silver lever to the left of the spirit level. 2. Whilst holding this lever down slide the top of the top of the quick release mechanism to the right (looking at the spirit level) and it should come off. Once you do it you'll know how much force to apply in future. If this doesn't work try loosening the large bolt a little more. You can safely remove it, but remember to replace it as it is used for locking the quick release. Note that the locking only starts after this bolt is turned 2-3 times, before this the quick release should work fine.

Easiest way is to follow the instructions in the camera manual. If you tell us which camera you are using, we may be able to offer more detailed information. BTW, there is no need to shout.

Do you really think that it's the Best tripod? I mean, I used it quite a while and I didn't find it that comfortable. Actually, I'm struggling now with finding a proper one. I almost don't use a tripod for now because I can't pick the one that will suit me.

Have you tried checking with the manufacturer. This is usually the best place to start with questions like this. They will be able to tell you if the remote is still available, and how much it costs.
