How do I take pictures off camera onto computer

First of all your manual will have a page that tells you how to do this if you read through it. I usually take my card out of the camera and plug it into the card reader of my computer. Then I open the card on my computer, copy the files in the card file window, move to where I want to store them in the computer and paste them to the file in the computer. It helps to have one big file like PHOTOS 2014 and more files in that one such as Flowers, Birthday, etc. Good luck.

My kodak m580 will not transfer my pictures to my computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Transfer photos to my laptop

Always before you connect a device on an USB connector on your computer, install the software that came with the device you try to connect. Modern Windows since Windows7 don't need the driver, because if there is any driver for your camera, it will know what to use and install it. But when you connect the camera, the computer needs to know what to do. Charge the battery or get the pictures from the camera. Some camera's also allow remote access to the shutter en can show the live view, but also for that you need to install the correct software. You still can download Kodak easy share software on the Kodak site for free if you lost your disk.

Remove a 1063 battery

On the end of the camera where the wrist strap is there is a "door" you need to slide it away from the strap to open it. There should be a small orange tab that you need to slide back and the battery should pop out a little bit and you can remove it to replace it with a new one.

Get wheel to turn on C300 digital camera kodak

If the main dial won't turn, you can't switch on or off and can't chose a mode. There is no way, if something got stuck, to find out what is wrong, without opening the camera. Don't try this yourself. Only try to turn the main dial, to the left and to the right, to see if you can get any movement in it. I don't think it would be worth to get it repaired, because camera's are so cheap these days. You could try to tap the camera, with the dial on the palm of your hand, but be aware a to big of a shock could damage the camera complete, Don't tap it on a hard surface.

How do I get the camera to read sd card?

Not sure what camera you have, but some camera manufacturers (like Canon) say you should format the SD card by the camera: insert the SD card, go to the menu and find the Format function and let it do its job - it usually very fast. On Canon it creates a few directories where it later store the images/video.

Format a new sd memory card ?

Memory cards need to be formatted before use. Please refer to your camera manual for instructions. Your camera may not work with 8GB SDHC cards, only with SD cards 2GB or smaller. Such cameras will report a card error and/or request formatting if you try to use an SDHC card. If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and specify the model of your Kodak EasyShare camera.

If i format the memory card will photos be erased?

Yes. Formatting the memory card erases everything on the card. It should be done periodically to clean things up, usually each time after you download your pictures to your computer.
