Error E45 See user guide Kodak Easy Share LS443

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Unnatural colors and a grainy LCD display

Dear concern. It seems like that the lcd has been either burned out or has been hurt badly.. try checking it on another camera whether the result is same or not .. If the result is same then the manfufacturer has built-in lcd with low depth quality.

My camera turns on but then it shuts off

More often than you think the battery can cause this problem. Even when you did charge it just before use. The charger can indicate the battery is fully loaded, but still it won't have enough power to let the camera work properly. Please try charging the battery again, and again. Of you have a multimeter (or know someone who owns one) you could test the battery. It should have a few tenths of a gold more than is printed on the battery (my guess your battery reads 3,7 volt and should give 3,9 or more when you pull it out of the camera) Other reason ca be, there is something worn, like a lens that can't come out, because it got stuck (after a fall??)

Can pics be retreived if accidentally deleated

If the pictures were on a memory card and you haven't done anything with the card since then, you may be able to recover at least some of the pictures. Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Put the card into a card reader attached to your computer and run the program.

Turn on camera get error B03

THe issue of the camera shutting down and the lens Extending is an internal malfunction. UNited Camera Repair has been able to fix this, at least for me, they did. They replaced the main board and the camera worked when I got it back. Otherwise, if you dont want to spend the money, try installing a new firm ware.....

thank yoy hav a nice day

How does one fix error e45?

Hello

Thank you for using FIXYA!!!

This is a suggestion. If you do not feel comfortable trying it, you will need to take the unit to your nearest service centre. Feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

The problem might be that the lens has become stuck in the barrel.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

I cannot format San disk

The DX6340 works with MMC and SD cards, not SDHC cards. You need to use cards 2GB and smaller with this camera.

Have a 4 gb sdhd card and cannot format it in

The V550 uses MMC and SD cards, not SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with MMC or SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Lens error 14

I assume the camera is shutting off the the lens won't stay extended? First remove the batteries for 30 seconds. Then replace them, sometimes that works. Now, the error is generally caused by the gears in the lens becoming out of alignment or some particle gets in and makes the gears stick. Try holding the camera (like you are going to take a picture with both hands), Then remove your left hand and bang the bottom of the camera on the palm of your left hand a few times. Do it with a little force, a few times. This should fix it. Try multiple times. If it still doesn't work, then you will need to send it to a repair service center. The contact information is at the following website.
